| New puppy size patterns? I'm bringing home my new baby on Saturday but I'd like to make him a little coat since it's so cold. Can anyone recommend a knit or crochet pattern the right size for an 8wk old yorkie please? Thanks x |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I myself do not crochet but there are several ladies here that do. Hopefully one of them can give you some advise. I would love to see the finished produce when you are finished.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I think buying a Yorkie at 8 weeks is a mistake, toy breeds benefit greatly by being with a good breeder a minimum of 12 weeks, when I say "good breeder" I mean that a good breeder will do all the things necessary to insure proper socialization and beginning potty training and it's mother will teach inhibition of the biting reflex. If you choose to ignore the advice of the experts, be prepared to possibly have greater difficulty with housebreaking and biting. But to answer you question, I think you can find many instructions on making a dog sweater out of a sock, it's perfect for young puppies.

| I agree 8 weeks is really young. My breeder would not allow her puppies to go until 3 mos old. When I got my puppy she was 13 wks and paper trained. She has really been healthy. She is 3 1/2 yrs now and has never been sick. Hope you find a pattern. |
