I was asked by Thuy/ Tessa327 if I wanted to work with her in doing an Impression Challenge and make a dress to match one of her bows for Tessa. I jumped at the opportunity to repay her for all of her generosity she has shown to myself and my pups these past several months. Plus of course I get to show off my dress making skills in the process.

She sent me a photo of one of her beautiful hand crafted bows and said to: "Think Caribbean" She than sent me a sample of the yarn used to make the bow. Thank goodness because I must have taken it out of the envelope over a dozen times to compare materials and ribbons.

This was a wonderful experience for me and I really enjoyed adding that little extra special touch into my design for such a special woman and her little gal Tessa ...

Aww thanks Dawn. Surly Tessa will look great in it. I'm glad you were able to work with those colors. I foresee many photos to come in her fashion album on FB

Beautiful dress.
I love that grey medallion fabric. It looks so good with the purple in the skirt. I have some of it in my fabric stash and you have given me some inspiration.

I agree. Can't wait to try it on Tessa. Dawn did a great job matching our theme request and at the same time making it classy.

Thank you all, I really enjoyed doing it. I'm glad that you all like it and that you Leslie got inspired by it. I love all the colors, they blend really well together. It turned out much better that what I had expected it to.

I'm anxious to do more. . . !

Thank you Thuy . . the colors were great I already had the two fabrics for the skirt I only needed to find a coordinating fabric for the bodes.

Oh yes, cant wait to see pic of Tessa wearing my creation plastered all over your FB page !

Thanks Aymee, I could not find the perfect match so I made the bow by gluing two different ribbon together.
