| what type of clips do you use? i bought some from the baby section at walmart. PetSmart's were soooo expensive. lol also, this may be a dumb question, but what's a top knot? |

You could cut the bands out to avoid pulling the hair out. Or use latex bands, they don't pull hair. Or tiny terry cloth type ones at Walmart. I use the claw clips, they're quick to put in, but you have to watch them so they don't eat them. But it helps to get them used to having a topknot.
