I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | This is a great place: D Rings, nickle plate, 8 sizes, 2 styles, Welded or Cast They take paypal and ship fast. The ones I purchased locally were too big. I like the ones ones with no welding mark so that it could never come apart no matter what.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I have bought on Etsy, Amazon, Ebay, etc. If I have to buy them in store, I always use a coupon. They are so much higher at Hobby Lobby and Joann than buying online, or atleast that has been my experience.

YT 2000 Club Member | Walmart and Hobby Lobby both carry them in their fabric section if you want to purchase locally! Hobby Lobby has 2 sizes and Walmart has I size......

| Just make sure the D ring is a solid (welded) ring and does NOT have a tiny slit otherwise it will slide out of the harness strap. High quality D-rings and O-Rings at Strapworks.com and another site with the welded D rings: 1 1/4" Pet Collar D-Rings : For Pets, Dogs, Backpacks, Bags, Belts & Straps Making Hardware - usalanyards.com

YT 2000 Club Member | Walmart and Hobby Lobby's D rings do have the slit. I have used them in a few harnesses and not had a problem with them splitting open. They are really fitted tightly together. So much that I am not able to even get a fingernail in between.

| I used those with the slits years ago and even though they are tight together, on of my girl got lose with the strap it was attached to slipped thru. Better safe than sorry.

| You should also be able to find them at your major fabric dealer like JoAnn's or Hancock, etc.
