| Where do you buy your fabric? So, I just started working with my sewing machine. I have a hobby lobby and JoAnnes that are within 30 minutes away. Do any of you all buy online? The Walmart by my brothers college sells fabric but I hardly go there. Any input will be great! Also best places on thread, Velcro, and accessories! Thanks in advice!

| I have bought my fabric (just started sewing this past week!) at Hobby Lobby and Joann's. I am sure some of our more seasoned seamstresses will let you know where they buy their fabric and I am sure some of them buy from online sources.

| I buy from Joann and Hobby Lobby but most of my fabrics I get from Fabric - Discount Fabric - Apparel Fabric - Home Decor Fabric - Quilting Fabric - Save up to 70% - Fabric.com. If I just want to make one dress or outfit I buy fat quarters and most of those I get from Etsy and there are tons of sellers on there. I have ordered from this seller most and her fabric is so nice and she ships very fast SistersandQuilters on Etsy

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | LOL...I'm a fabric addict! I've bought fabric from hobby lobby, Joanns, fabric.com, Wally world & a few other online shops. I think I need an intervention because I now have over 225 different fabrics You have to be very picky with walmart fabrics as many aren't very good products imo.

| If you buy from JoAnn frequently, it definitely pays to subscribe to their online newsletters. They send out a ton of coupons and you can save quite a bit. Also watch for Hobby Lobby 40% off coupons.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Oh my I am definitely a fabric hoarder. Lol. I have bought from: Hobby lobby Joann fabrics Hancock fabrics Walmart Amazon Etsy eBay Fabric.com Local fabric boutiques It's addictive buying fabric. The best buy I have found on Velcro is on Amazon. I get 10 yard rolls of both black and white pretty in expensively. I buy d rings on etsy from a lady in china. I know I should be buying from American vendors to support the us economy but I get 200 d rings (100 in 1 inch and 100 in 3/4 inch) for right around $40. I just can't find prices that low from America. I also always use coupons and sales. Hobby lobby and Joann have a fabulous mobile app you can add to your phone for instant coupons. Hancock has a mobile club you can sign up for on their website where they text you coupons. If I ever do a big order I love fabric.com because they offer free shipping on orders over $35 I think it is.

| I don't have a hobby lobby near here so I go to Joann Fabrics. With the coupons its much better but it is still expensive. Not much variety here in South Florida with fabric stores.
