Thuy knits bows and she made one for my buddy in the GE. It was REALLY cute! She also made a little scarf and a beautiful necklaceto match.

I think it looks great! It could be a little smaller but a very nice bow!

I've become fond of a little bigger bows on my girls bc I think it's cute. They don't seem to mind. I was always worried their bows might be to heavy so I made them REAL small.

And you were my inspiration! I finished a sweater last night! Knitted sleeves and ribbing at the bottom too! More to come!

ZoE wears bows every day 5/8" size ribbon ones & is fine with them. But she tends to shake her head more in this knitted bow, so I think it might be a bit too big & she can feel it up there on her head more.

Making the sleeves takes me almost as long as knitting the whole sweater! And I always forget how many times I'm going around in a circle, and on the first go of this sweater one arm ended up longer than the other, so I had to undo rows of it.

Karan did you double the bow like with your ribbons, if so that is why it is heavy, can you try it one layer and use thestiffener. also it could be tad smaller but other than that I like it LOL I do like it just giving you some advice, love the color and the edges look sharp

No, it's just a single knit rectangle, folded back to make a bow. She just kept shaking her head & rubbing on the couch cushions until it was hanging in her eyes...so I took it out. She's still in the sweater though.

Oh that's my favorite color yarn! That sweater turned out great! The bow looks good too!

I tried making a bow. I used size 3 needles and cast on 10 stitches using worsted weight yarn. It ended up being equal to the size of 2 quarters placed side by side. Is yours bigger or smaller than that?

Oh I hear you. Knit-work is such a s.l.o.w. craft but for me it's relaxing, except for those drop stitches and accidental YOs. I like the beanie and sweater combo, nobody minds if it's impractical.. it's just too darn cute!

Your bow came out lovely. It's nice to have another fellow knitter here on YT My bows 5/8" in size and are single loop, not stiffened. It's a personal pattern I use for business and also sell them here to YT members, great hit for winter I prefer barrette backings over elastics and alligators clips. Here's a sample bow I made for Tessa with matching scarf (which is one of many impractical items I make. lol. But a girl has got to accessorize!! and being handcrafted, it is truly one of its kind).
