| It's finished!! I finally finished it!! This is the first quilt I have ever made. It's made with 20 different breast cancer fabrics and uses a pattern called "turning 20". I had so much fun making it that I have already made another one that just needs to be quilted and the binding done. I am hoping to get it finished this weekend. http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...60289ADECA.jpg http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...601DFDDDCC.jpg I have also started a quilt for my younger daughter and it will be done with crazy animal prints. I have attached a photo of the general design so you can see what I'm talking about. It's made with 110 nine inch blocks (king size) and each square will have a small sashing piece between it and the next in black and white zebra. The back is done in a black and white zebra as well. http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...603B3BCD76.jpg This is what it will look like with the sashing http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...60A2C7C170.jpg And these are the stacks of strips! http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/...6098FD9E3F.jpg My son has requested a quilt as well, in some manly camo and browns and deer fabric, so I am searching for the pattern I want to use and will start on it as soon as I finish the daughter's quilt. I have all 110 blocks sewn except for the very last strip, so I am thinking I will have it finished by Sunday if there are no hiccups this week. Anyway, thanks for looking

| I can't imagine how much time and work and neck aches it must have taken to make that lovely quilt. The work looks wonderful. I just love quilts! And they usually tell some type of story. My favorite is so old it is practically slick but soft and warm as butter on toast. And heavy. I love the old thing. Your quilt is wonderful and like all good ones, will be around for a long, long, long, long time. They are timeless. I'm sure you treasure it. I know I would.

| Michele the Breast cancer quilt is just stunning. I know how much love and work went into it. My mom is a quilter and I know what is involved. You have a seriously major quilting talent. I love the pattern and fabric choices, simply gorgeous. The quilt for your daughter is going to be equally as gorgeous.
