Hey guys! I got an early start this morning and was able to sew these 4 dresses this morning. I thought I would share.

This first dress is a formal gown for New Year's Eve. The dress is made from satiny, silky fabrics. The lady who asked for this one wanted something with the colors of champagne in it: beige, gold, silver. The flower attachment on the back of the dress is removeable. The dress has a gold/silver glittered tulle underskirt. Here are pix:

Next a 'Breast Cancer Awareness' dress. I found the patterned breast cancer awareness fabric on the harness at Joann. I added a coordinating pink print and some silvery glittered tulle for a skirt. Instead of a bow at the waistline, I decided to do a ribbon looped like the Breast Cancer Awareness symbol.

Next, a poker/card playing themed dress. I found the card fabric on the harness at Joann as well and matched it with a red/black polka dot print. The tulle underskirt features red glittered tulle and a silver glittered bow.

And last, another pink/green dress like I made for Tracy, except in a size Small.

Love that formal. I think it's my favorite. Did you find it easy/hard working with that material??

That formal fabric was different for me. I did lots of research and talked to anyone I could first before starting to make sure I would be prepared. I've never sewn through anything quite as thick as that top harness part material. I bought it at Joann. It was actually on a mannequin they had made a dress for out of the same material and I fell in love with it. I bought extra so hope to work with it again. I'm sure I have lots more practice to get in!
