I saw "crochet" in the thread title and I thought Oh I'll have a look see, I used to make amigurumis. Then I saw those shorts and I thought, OMG people crochet SHORTS??! with POCKETS? I really hope the real person who made those were joking too, those are beyond horrid.

Yes and he loves them so much he has asked if I can make a pair in a Tartan plaid to honor his Scottish heritage

I bought a crochet book but don't have the techniques down yet. I'm learning to crochet with a few ladies this weekend. Wish me luck!
