| Anyone working on a project?? I have been SOOOO busy as of late and sadly I haven't sewn at all in the last week or so. I did get my serger set up again and have some boy clothes pieces cut and ready to go. I have two custom orders for dog dresses as well as a request for some cat clothes. Friends of ours are getting a hairless kitten in about a week and having no fur means one cold kitty lol. Gotta tell ya guys this is one ugly cat lmao. So quite a few projects on the to do list just nothing getting done until the weekend. Anyone else working on a current project or have something they are planning on doing soon?

| No. I wish I could though but we will be hitting the beach again. My knitting needles and sewing machine are beckoning me to work on something. Maybe I can make a frilly scarf while I'm there for a special friend |

| In the interest of DOWNSIZING I have gone through 8yrs of SewBeautiful magazines that I inherited, copied only what I wanted for sewing projects, put the copies in page protectors in a 3ring binder. I also did this to ALL of my xstitch magazines. What took up 2 long shelves on a book case now takes up two 3" ,, 3 ring binders. The Sew Beautifuls are already rehomed to bless a new seamstress that is learning how to smock. The xstitch magazines are going to be gone through by my daughter in laws and daughters and a friend. Then they will be going to a new home. When I want to use something out of the binders I can take out what I want and not have to haul an entire magazine around. |

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | I used to do a lot of counted cross stitch but my eyes won't work well enough to do so anymore. I have quilted, crocheted and done almost every craft known to woman and can't see well enough to do ANY of it now (almost 65). I have an iPad and have zillions of books on it so reading is my primary form of entertainment these days. I enjoy fantasy fiction most, dragons, magic, that type of thing. Louise |

I had a Hairless Chinese Crested who we just put down a couple of months ago at the age of 15. I know a lot of people don't like this expression but she was so ugly she was cute (and a great little girl for so many years). She was a retired show dog and we got her at 3 1/2 years of age. Don't get me going on what I think about how people treat show dogs.....time for that later. Louise

| Oddly enough anything yarn gets me all excited. I would love to learn how to crochet but still learning how to read knitting patterns. I signed up for a crochet class, so I hope I won't get confused between the 2. |

| I just bought a used spinning wheel last September... still trying to get it working... I put it away for a while till I get my sewing room organized.... I did some spinning on one of those small hand held thingies (spindle?), just used some hair from my cat and dogs and grooming brushes for the carding, lol, but I made yarn from it.

I think you'll find that crochet is very easy. I taught myself and in no time was making intricate tablecloths Now knitting is another story lol that took me FOREVER to learn.

I just started a line of shirts with doggy lines for people who love doggies and their dogs. I wanted to do something to make my little sister, who cares for our 94 1/2 year old mom smile, so I came with this idea for a shirt for her from sayings she has about her love for her yorkie. It has mushroomed into a mag project and hopefully we both can work on this together for the rest of our lives and give others the smiles and help out some rescue dog sites along the way. She is into rescue dogs.
