| I usually go by measurements on pre-made clothing because there is really no standard. It varies by mfg. I make most all of Jada's clothing and make my own patterns, so in a bought pattern (the few that I have) she is normally a small.

do you use a ruler and such to do your patterns or do you have a software product? i was looking yesterday and the cheapest software i found was $1500 to make patterns. i just drew my own and used rulers to be sure all was measured out correctly so ill see if that actually works when i cut and sew the pattern.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Thanks guys! I appreciate you input. I was looking at my patterns this morning and noticed some of the different brands have a big difference on the sizing measurements. I hadn't noticed too much before, but I've been sticking to the same 2-3 patterns. I need to bust out some of the others. Never enough hours in the day! LOL

| Kiko's size varies by brand, usually a s/m. For her, the length of the back is the best indicator of how it will fit; she wears a 14". |

| Riley wears a lot of Small & Medium. But his last 2-swearts... [his Skull and Monster sweaters... ] were XS. They were made really small.... The Smalls on him were Gigantic. |

| Both of my boys wear a medium. Connor is a little chunkier, so most of the mediums are a little snug, but Neo is just about right. Anything smaller, and it is too tight. Wish there were number sizes, like people clothes. |
