Yorkie Yakker | Sporty Fleece Dress This is the first outfit I have ever attempted to piece together from a manufactured garment, and this is the first item I have created for Eleanor. I love the way it turned out but I am nervous about the strings on the back and I want replace them with something else, but what? I hope everyone had a safe and happy end to their 2011, it's good to be back.

| That is just beautiful!! Could you maybe make the strings shorter? If not, maybe just take them out, then just run some elastic thru there and sew together.

thank you so much! the strings could be made shorter. they currently run through the whole dress and i am scared she will be a stinker and hide behind a couch to mess with it. i bet i could find some elastic as well.
