| Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member  |  Well I have new found respect for you seamstresses.... Tee hee! Well I dove in and did it this afternoon. Katie Scarlett was napping so I decided to hem the pajamas I told y'all about a couple of weeks ago. I am not a seamstress to say the least. I do have a sewing machine but I sew on paper with my scrapbooking. Well today I got frustrated trying to hem by hand so I marched into my scrappy studio and fired up the machine. I now have a new found respect for all of you ladies who sew! Sewing on fabric is hard! LOL! It is so wobbly! I'm sure that is a real technical term. Ha ha! You guys would get a big laugh when you saw my stitching. It's not the straightest, but I did get the job done. But even if it is less than perfect, I am proud of myself for conquering it. Should I post pix tonite when I put her a pair of 'em? Tee hee! You can't laugh though!

|  Um, yes of course we need pics. Good job for you. I was scared of my sewing machine for years until one day I said "im going to make Pita a dress" and by gosh I did.....and now I am outta control! Lol! |

| lol i use to want to be a fashion designer in high school, i use to rip apart all my clothes and try to redesign them lol, then i realised i couldn't sew. LOL. ended up with alot of ruined clothes i attempted to sew, after that i never tryed again, it is sooooo hard, i agree respect for seamstresses LOL,i wish i could make all the things i imagine for meesha,but i don't think me and sewing machines will ever be friends, I'm sure you did a great job with katie scarlettes pj's though would love to see pics of her in them,i've been waiting for meesha to stop gowing through growing spurts so i can finally get her some pj's |
