Rose and all, How cute are those pictures!!! We both have so much to be thankful for....all our furbabies are growing and healthy!! I have had 4 calls today from new Mommies to say thank you for their new little ones...I cried each time and hubby covered my mouth when I started to say to bring them back!!!LOL He answered one call and was a gooshy and I was. We miss them so much, but know they are all in wonderful homes. Please give all your little ones hugs for me. Happy Thanksgiving! |
Another week has passed....Pups @ 6 weeks! 4 Attachment(s) Well here we are at 6 weeks already. These puppies don't stand still unless they are ready to sleep! Therefore as you can see, my hubby had to hold them so I could get their snapshots...and even that was a chore for him to hang on to them. LOL They've gotten big enough and strong enough to climb over the make-shift entry (for Lexie) on the xpen, so we had to do away with the entry and they are enclosed all the way around the xpen now. We let Lexie in every now and then/when she wants in to be near/feed them. We're doing a little better with the weaning which is good as I think I heard Lexie grumbling for the first time this morning as they were nursing. Someone's little puppy teeth must have gotten to close for comfort. Anyway...here they are 6 weeks old yesterday 11-25-07 in birth order... Candy - Casper - Halle - Spook |
the puppies are adorable Rose...they are getting so big, its hard to believe they are 6 weeks old....:) |

Candy-Casper-Halle-Spook @ 7 weeks old! 4 Attachment(s) Well, another week has passed:doghop: and the fur-babies are another week older. They move non-stop:doghop: when they have free run:doghop: time...it took me at least 30-60 minutes to get these four :doghop: pictures! We ran an ad in our local newspaper this weekend for the pups and had a few calls. One very nice family stopped by to have a look and fell in love with Spook for what they described as his "spunky" attitude. As you can probably guess , they put a deposit down on him and I am certain that they will give him a loving:2hearts2: forever home. So, Spook, the last one born, is the first to be chosen. Here they are - in birth order again...they are so much fun and I am becoming more attached to them every day. It WILL be hard to see them go...... |
Congratulations on finding your 1st forever home for one of the babies!! I know it's going to be hard when the time really does come to say goodbye. I love Halle's little face... When did you tell them the release date would be? Perfect Christmas or New Years Present:D |
awwww they are so stinkin cute!!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the one witht he orange band......he reminds me of Diggy with that lil tail sticking straight up!!!!! |

Wacky heat cycle/not sure if the place to post Hi All, long time no post, Mya's and mine real life took a real turn. My husband her Daddy left us for a man. I am just back to being my old myself and so is Mya. Ok personal crap aside...lol Mya's heat cycle has been March 8th July 13th then May 5th. We tried breeding with a tiny ankle biter on May 16th, 18th and 20th.. Two virgins and Mya would YELP LOUD when he enter her (all 4 legs off the floor) and he would pull out. Now on Dec 7th she is showing signs again of going into heat...wanting her tummy rubbed and whining...no blood yet. Do others have yorkies with erratic heat cycles? This time a friend will pay for Stud Service to ensure that she will get preggers. I comforted her a lot with first time breeding I think the young male was exhausted trying to reach...My 6pounds but he was very tiny 4pounds and I think he was just too distracted. Once he found out that she would lick him he felt ...Wow this feels nice and I can relax !!! LOL My questions: Should I be concerned about the heat cycles not being consistent? Any advice for when I take her to the next stud? I was told one of my mistakes was that he was brought to my HOME not HIS. Have others found this is best? Any info would he helpful. Thank you Cynthia |
