That is awesome that Little T is doing so good. I agree with Sugar's mom, being a breeder, you are sooooooo careful, but sometimes a little bugger sneaks when they shouldnt have. So sorry to hear about the other 2, but keep your head up, that little one will be extra special. I did about fall over when I heard the size of the 3 of them and breech and her size and she delivered them all on her own. AMAZING! It must have been a very fast delivery. Daisy who is 4 1/2 lbs has teenie tiny puppies. 1.5oz, 2.4oz and 3 oz puppies, so 3 oz is big for a 3 1/2 lb mama. You just keep taking good care of your babies!! Are you sure, I still can't talk you out of Star??

The first one arrived sometime before 7am because that's when I woke up and found her in the cage.......she went in on her own........he was still in the sac, all intact. It wasn't until around 10:30am that she started having contractions again. Of course I was right there for this one. He was part way out and I had been trying to help. I finally called the vet and just started talking to them when his head finally came out. He came breach with the cord wrapped all around his body. I don't know if that may have contributed to his not making it although I worked on him for about 20 minutes. That's when I noticed Peanut walking around with the third one hanging out and I didn't hesitate to rush her to the vet because he was breach too and I had already gone through enough and wanted the watchful eye of a trained professional. When Dr. Ralph picked up the puppy and cleaned off the sac, tied off the cord and gave him back to Peanut, he said he wished all his appointments were that easy!
Yes, very amazing! God does work in mysterious ways.
And no, you can't have Star! Too late!!!!!!! Nah nah nah nah nah nah!
I need to take a new picture of her with her summer cut. Her hair is very fine but she is so active and such a big tease that she mates up easy, even the day after a bath with Cowboy Magic, so off came the hair. She's much happier and so am I.

I like that picture too. That was the first time he nursed on his own so a very special moment for me. If he was a female, I would very seriously consider keeping him but I certainly don't need any more males around here. I need to get rid of some of my males I already have but how do you discard family members? I can't do it! That's why we have so many dogs now. I guess sucker is tattooed on my forehead.

If you decide not to keep him please keep me in mind. He is very special. I'm trying to catch up to my dream of having 4 babies.

I'm a sucker to that is why I can never breed. I would end up keeping them all!

I thought I responded to your post but don't know where it went. Star is the one who was on my husbands shoulder when you were here. Peanut was the anti-socialite. She wouldn't let me touch her unless it was to pick her to to take her outside. And that was the only time, that is until the day before she delivered. She had a poopy butt and had to get a bath. I wrapped her up in a towel and we sat outside, she let me trim her hair, AND her ears and didn't squirm very much. During labor she let me pet her, hold her, and help with the births. Now she's doing so much better allowing me to be near her. And MoJo needs to go live with our son...............but he stays in a motel in upper New York for his job and only gets home about every other month.

Little T is a week old today and squirms all over the cage trying to get to mama. Can't wait for him to get his eyes open!

Jake's little brother, Kringle, is finally going to get a forever home soon. He too will be staying in Ohio. Just one more to find a home for, that is until Lil T gets big enough. Valentino is still available.

I swear Lil T has tripled in size already. Once he started nursing, I don't think he stoped for a minute. And what a beautiful face. I can't wait for him to open his eyes.
