Kansas Biewers (ksbiewers) has new standard yorkie babies! Hello everyone, I have been busy and so have my girls. We have two new litters of Standard Yorkies! The puppies were born a week ago. Rosie had her babies on May 27 and Foxy had her babies on May 28th. Foxy is Rosie's daughter and I have always been amazed at how patient Rosie is with Foxy. The pregnancies and deliveries were just amazing with these girls. When Foxy was in labor I couldn't find her...she had gone to be with her mother in the box with her and her babies. I guess she felt better being with her mom. Rosie is a very good mother and very protective. This would not have been acceptable if it had been anyone other than Foxy. Last Saturday I was babysitting my grandchildren and was gone most of the evening. We had storms that night that were pretty bad. When I got home I instantly knew something was wrong because Foxy did not greet me when I came in and the house was quiet. I soon found out why....while I was gone Foxy had moved her three babies in the box with Rosie and her four babies. They had been in two different rooms in total opposite ends of the house. I have a picture to share with you that I took the next day when I was cleaning the puppy box. I had placed the puppies in a Tupperware container while I was cleaning. I left the room to get something and when I returned this is what I saw! I have left Rosie and Foxy together. She obviously feels better with her mom and I wont interfere with that!

That is such a sweet picture! Years and years ago we three litters of kittens born within a week of one another-- a mother and two sisters. They all decided to group together like that, so we had about 18 cats/kittens in one box together. It makes you realize that animals feel the bond of family too. Good luck with your beautiful new puppies!

OMG, that is too sweet and I think it is great that you are just letting it be instead of seperating them. I love that photo... Kathy

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Can I send Abbi--she still want to be nursing and her babies now are teething. Poor Abbi I think she thinks mothering her puppies was for too short a time period. |

Pam has shaved a bit of hair off of the puppies from one of the mothers. She will have to watch the patch and make sure it does not grow in enough to get them confused.
