| Calliope Belle 11/21/06 Took Miss Calliope on her first outing today! I'm a newbie at having a pocket pet so wasn't sure how to smuggle a dog. We went to the dentist and about half way through my daughter's cleaning, Calliope started to whimper and work her way out of the bag I had her in. She wanted to come out and see the world! Such an inquisitive little thing! They loved her though so was happy they didn't yell at me After the dentist, she had her new puppy check at the vet. Ouchie Shot! Then bordetella booster but they were all incredibly taken by her, too. And when I came home tonight - the most wonderful thing had happened! She made friends with her new big brother, Braxton!!! I'm so HAPPY!!! We're still being very cautious with them but you can tell they made nice with each other today! Any body got any advice on how to safely smuggle little ones into stores without being detected? I know I need to invest in a good carry bag but anything else? Gotta be under cover... hee hee

| I just train them to stay in my purse. I have a "sac" type purse from aldo and they love it!

| They used the smallest needle they had but she just yelped and cried. They didn't weigh her...and I was so scared for her that I forgot to ask them to do it. She goes back in a month but I might run her in on Saturday and just ask them to do it. I'll have to look for a better bag than what I have. I've got a Nine West back pack purse with a zipper in the back and a flap top. She poked her head out the back. We would have gotten away with it but she's too curious right now She wanted to see what was going on. Heading off to bed...we had a big day. She's going to school with Riley in the morning to say Hi to the teacher and students in her class then coming back home. They've all heard so much about her already and can't wait to meet her Thank you both for responding!

| Dee - I think she's 99% piddle pad trained!!!!! Don't know how you did it but you did a fantastic job! We take her outside and she looks at us like we're crazy but put her on a piddle pad and she knows exactly what to do. She's only had one accident and she was on her way to the pad, it was just too far away and she couldn't wait I didn't scold her though...it was Mama's fault.

LOL...that is how we got Coco trained to go outside. He likes to lift his leg to everything...so, outside he goes like 8-9 times and by the time he gets upstairs theres nothing left, lol... Then 1 hour later...our sofa leg gets the lift... go figure!

| Too funny - little boys will lift no matter what you do. Loved the pee pole you had Dee...does that work at all? I think neutering helps but it's just a boy thing. They gotta mark what's their's. There's been a couple of times I'd have bet money Brax was gonna lift his leg on Calliope!! Smart little dogs...that's for sure. No effort to pee pad train....huh...who'd-a-thunk-it!?

They were playing when I came home tonight. Brax has taken to knocking her over with his nose. She seems to enjoy it...keeps coming back for more. He's not opening his mouth any more so I think he's learning. So my Dad says to my Mom this morning after he FINALLY agreed to look at the pictures I sent them....So you wanna drive to Ketucky and get one for ourselves? SHOCKER! He hasn't even come to see her yet - just said that on seeing the photos! She's so sweet...slept on my neck last night. I'm whipped...lol Gonna put her sweater on her and take her out for a walk since it's 45 degrees outside!

| it seems strange when I hear people talking about taking my babies for walks. i have a huge fenced in yard but the babies are not on the ground as long as I have them. i want to make sure they stay healthy while I have them. Well, if your dad gets serious, tell him your breeders name. LOL |

Dad loved her! He never shows emotion - He got the high pitched squeaky voice, picked her up and cuddled her and just laughed...WOW! My Grandpa on the other hand....!!! I sent him an email with pictures in it...he responds and says "the picture is about as close to such things as I want to get.....My take on this is that civilized people stopped living with their animals centuries ago.....love grampa" DOUBLE WOW So I responded in kind..."I'm choosing to believe that's code for "Cute Dog". Love you too...Stef" LOL He's such an old fart. I took pics of my Dad with her...will upload later. Kids are fighting over the machine
