| Tucker- born 7/15/06 Meet Tucker, a real shy guy. He compliments busy body Lucy (a non related Yorkie puppy we got at the same time) quite nicely. He is a sweet boy, who prefers to snuggle on your lap. He does come alive outside and plays and runs around quite a bit. He is a week younger, and also smaller than Lucy (estimated to go to 5-6 lbs) and gets colder faster, hence his nickname Mr. Shakes. For all the shaking he does in the extra cold autumn weather we are having in the midwest this year. Brrr! He seems to prefer Lucy's company slightly over human company, and initiates play times with her often. He's a slow eater, grabbing a few morsels and walking around with them, tail wagging, like they are a prize. He would rather play than eat. Unless it comes to treats, which are another story. He also does not seem bothered by the 8 cats in the house, and seems to really like Jasper. Jasper is a cat who loves dogs, so this works out well. Except for when his patience runs a little thin with the heavy puppy energy, and then he leaps up to a kitchen chair for a little break, before jumping back into the action, getting jumped on, licked and slightly chewed. He's a good sport. Tucker doesn't care much for wearing clothes, but will tolerate a sweater on outside. Trying to get him to wear boots is tough, he acts completely helpless. Lucy tolerates outfits much better, and is really getting the hang of boots. Teresa Last edited by LucyNTuckersMom; 10-16-2006 at 09:07 PM. |
