Wonderful that she passed it!!!!!  Also wonderful that you knew to keep track! I have tried several vets....I really do like the fact that one of them gives a shot of anitbiotic to the Mamma when I take her in (and the pups) within 24 hours of whelping....it just makes me feel better. | |

| Congratulations on some pretty healthy sized puppies!!! My Lucy gave birth three weeks ago to two 6 oz puppies.... She used to average 3 to 5 oz puppies..... IS THERE SOMETHING IN THE WATER making them bigger????   Keep us posted.

| New Mama Hi everyone. I am brand new at this. My yorkie Sweet Pea had 4 puppies early Sunday morning. So far two have died and I am getting conflicting information on how to feed the pups. Sweet Pea won't eat much so she doesn't have much milk. I've tried giving her Hills AD, dry puppy food, cottage cheese and I even went and bought her a McDonalds hamburger but no luck. My vet says to tube feed the pups, another vet says to bottle feed them. Anyone with experience on this out there? Thanks!! |
