At what age did you first take your puppy to the groomers for a hair cut?

I first took my dog yesterday, he'll be 7months next week. I wanted to take him sooner, but he had to get all of his shots. Even though we bathed him and brushed his hair, it was still in his eyes and he was getting knots in his hair too, so we took him ASAP

I wasn't sure how young was too young. He is almost 3 months old, but he's a big guy (4.7 lbs last time we had him to the vet). His hair is growing nicely. I think he is so adorable, but I don't want people to think we don't take care of him if his coat isn't trimmed.

Mines only 2oz more than yours, so if he has all his shots then I'm sure it would be fine. I felt the same way about the coat, cuz undernieth it was getting matted and even though I bathed and combed him, and tried trimming it myself, I could only do so much. Good luck! I think it excited my pup a lot, he peed like 5x w/in the first hour of us getting him!!

I took Jewels when she was 3 months and Chachi when he was 4 months

Kali just went to the groomers last week. She was 13 weeks old and did great.
