| She had 4 babies!! Noooooooooo not one of my girls! My friend's big girl had 4 healthy baby boys during the night. I sat with her all day and night, she was/is a very nervous first time mommy LOL... Well i can understand, i would FREAK OUT if one of my girls had to give birth lol All went very well, it took her 3 hours to deliver her babies, she's a marvelous first time mom. She had two breech babies and two normal ones, she needed help with the breech births. What an experience this is to have the oppertunity to watch and help. After i saw the first pup coming out, i told my son to call the neighbour, i knew she has more guts then my friend and i put together, she would be the one that would not panic incase of an emergancy. After the third pup was born we thought mom was done, so we started cleaning her bedding and freshen her up a bit, while the neighbour turned the matress of the playpen around she started scratching like mad and gave us a surprise with the fourth pup lol They weighed in at: 1st: 217 grams 2nd: 176 grams 3rd: 165 grams 4rth: 162 grams They are so tiny and perfect, will post pics soon!

| To convert grams to ounces - multiply grams by .04 So they are healthy babies at approx. 6 to 8 ounces. Congratulations! I'm so glad all went well. |

| Thanks Lacy's Mom for the conversion Yes they are all healthy thank goodness. I just came home from visiting and checking the babies, i go there everyday to see how they are doing, the babies are putting on weight as they are suppose to, 10 to 20 grams a day, not one of them is staying behind in weight, all suckling really well, the mom is so good with them she seems all grown up now, from being the wild girl that she used to be, she's now a caring new mommy. The mom weighs 14 lbs, she's a big girl and the dad weighs 5 lbs.

| I am interested in information on number of boys born vs. girls. Do you know what days in the cycle the breeding(s) took place? |

| Congrats they look so cute and Mommy looks tired....lol I have a couple of questions: I thought the xray would show how many puppies she was carrying, was one hidden?. Secondly: What do you do differently for a breech birth?

| Lacy's mom: the breeding took place on the ninth day feminvstr: lol i also don't know what's up with all these boys, i was expecting her to have at least ONE girl lol ... she is NOT my yorkie, she belongs to my friend, i DON'T breed my girls Mya's_Mom: When my friend took her to the vet for an echo, it showed she was carrying two puppies, tho the vet did tell her, she might have more and it could be that they are in the back. When the breech puppies came out, i had to pull GENTLY to help her get them out and open the sack, specially with number 3 she was having problems, the puppy was not reacting so i had to shake and rub it GENTLY a few times.
