| sophie's eyes??? Hi I'm not sure if this is right place to post but I would love some advice. My first yorkie grand pup was born on April 7, 2014. She's beautiful perfect little pup. She was tiny 3 ounces when born but has way doubled her weight. She's a little chunk now. LOL. I'm extremely worried because she has not opened her eyes yet. By my calculations she might have been early as I wasn't expecting her to give birth till 12th or later. That lead to me not being home when she went into labor and I came home to find my very first grand pup had passed. I cried so much. I still feel so guilty I wasn't here. But she did have another pup 4 hours later and it was a baby girl whom we have named Sophie. The vet said if they haven't opened eyes by day 16 then I should bring her up. My hubby not crazy about another vet bill if it's possible everything is fine since he thinks you can wait up to 20 days or if the baby was early it may take longer. Has anyone experienced this with yorkie pups? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
