| Thank you so much for posting this thread and adding pictures of Athena as she grows. It looks like you've been doing a great job as her mama! Zeus is just adorable--I love the way he smiles. He looks like quite the little love bug! We started looking for a Yorkie shortly after my dad died in June 2012. Our vet gave us the number of another patient who had puppies, and when I talked to her I found out that the father of these pups had been killed by a friend's dog when the puppies were 2 weeks old. It just seemed right to get our little Puff, whose daddy had also died.

| She's adorable and I'm sure very spoiled. So sad about her mom. I've heard stories like this before and stories about dogs that get loose after car accidents. Sometimes seems like it's just impossible to protect them from everything no matter how hard we try. I hope your friend is recovering well.
