| Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi How is it going with your new baby? Did you find potty training ok? I am getting my new little girl on the 24/09.. can't wait. I have called her Hollie.. Its been 11yrs since I had a baby yorkie..so will be almost a new experience. I am wondering about having her in a pen inside for when I have to turn my back or go out. What do you other mommy's do when you have to go out and leave your new babies at home? Its really worrying me..as our house is quite big. I don't want her to get lost. We will have a drive of 3hrs when we collect her. have heard some get sick..oh dear poor little thing. I am a newbie..and dont know how to post photo's? can someone put me in the picture? Thank you Ave x |

| A crate is best for when u have to turn your back. I jave mine in a childrens play yard. I wouldmt leave her unattended. Too easy for somethinf to go wrong and they get into stuff really fast. Plus theor own little space will help with potty training and give them thwir safe place.

| We've been crating her, but when she gets a little better with the potty training, we'll move her up to an x-pen and then eventually she'll get free roam. Well to an extent. She'll get free roam in the living room for the most part since that is where we usually are anyways. I don't like giving free roam of the whole house. We used to with Geno but he ALWAYS found ways to get into trouble so he lost that privilege lol They still find ways to get in trouble in the living room but at least this time, we're there with them to stop it before it gets worse
