OMG this litter is so funny. The boys are like the three stooges when they play. And the girl she just wants to be held and adored. I can hardly wait to get them outside and see what they do. Mia took off as soon as I opened the crate door. Then Peppermint followed right after her. Breezie was the only one who thought the grass was icky and she stayed on the blanket with me.

| Yes, we are going to do therapy dog training. They will not accept her in the program until I've had her for 6 months. That's the rules. The girls, George, and I are going back to Florida in July, then we'll be home for awhile. Johns Hopkins has scheduled my son Corey, for another brain surgery on August 1st. I'll have lots of down time, and Mia and I can work on our skills together. I just love it when you post pictures of the gang. They are such a beautiful litter, and it's so fun that you share them with us. Isn't it amazing how much they change just from week to week? Is Friday doing well? I'm thinking that clan doesn't give her much rest. And I've been meaning to ask you. Are your friend's pups doing well?

YT 1000 Club Member | That's great you will have to let me know how she does. Let me know how the surgery goes also for Corey. I love tis litter so far the 2 bigger boys are getting huge well weighing alot more than Mia and Peppermint did at the same age. The 2 little ones are so small compared to those two. Friday is doing great she only nurses them twice a day now they are eating canned food until their teeth come in completely. I bought the pups their first Loofa dogs they will get to take with them to their new homes when I am ready to let them go. Cindy's pups are doing good she says they aren't as big as she is used to them being but then they are basically orphaned pups and their growth rate is slower than if they had their Mom. I will call you next weekend so we can talk. I would call this weekend but I have a dog show. I am taking Abbie back in the ring she has a longer coat now and it's almost to the floor. Very exciting for me.

| Have fun this weekend. I would love to see Miss Abbie in her beautiful full show coat. Maybe someone will snap a picture or two for you to share. Hugs to the gang.

YT 1000 Club Member | 7 weeks this sunday Well the pups will be 7 weeks old on Sunday. Man this time is going by so fast. Next week Johnny and Hank get evaluated to see if they have the correct structure. They all go in for their first shots next week also. after that they will get to go check out the backyard. That's another test to see who is the first one to explore the great outdoors. Okay so Jake and Reba are still under 1lb. But Johnny and Hank are creeping up on 2 lbs. They all have attitudes but Jake and Reba are the sweeter ones of the litter. Jake is a true kisser and Reba is definitely a lap hog. Hank is well the only way to really describe him is to say he is much like his namesake Hank Williams Jr. And Johnny well he is goofy but boy does he get an attitude. He is trying to establish himself as the one in charge as far as the pups go. I am so in love with this whole litter and knowing this is the last one for Friday will make it harder than normal to let any of them go when the time is right. So anyway here they are. hank.JPG Hank jake.JPGJake johnny.JPGJohnny reba.JPGReba

| Loved reading about the puppies..all so cute. I am expecting to get my new pup in a few mths as the litter is not due till july 18th. I was curious to know when they show their personalities. Many years ago, when I picked out my first one, I chose the fiesty one, and now i want to choose a sweet mellow little girl. The breeder will want me to pick early and leave deposit way before 8 wks so I think this is an issue. Just planning is helping heal my broken heart with the emptiness of the loss of my 14 yr old. mj PS: hope you keep posting their progress! Last edited by maryj; 07-06-2012 at 11:44 AM. How exciting, I love puppies. As to when they start showing their personalities I noticed them start anytime after 4 weeks, that is when they really start getting very mobile. This litter however started getting up and around about 2 and a half weeks. My advice for you would be to let the puppy pick you. I am sure you will be bragging about your new pup in no time at all. Good luck and Congrats
