| Meet Cooper :) Hello Everyone!!! I have a new son! His name is Cooper. He was born 10-25-2011 so that makes him 2.5 months (or 10.7 weeks or 75 days) LOL. Cooper is my first Yorkie. However, I am familiar with the Yorkie breed. Currently i am unsure of his weight. I have only had him for 1 day and he doesn't register on a human scale. Any advice for me? Also, I have noticed that he has one ear that flips forward and the other ear is always standng straight up. Is this normal for a puppy or will he be this adorable forever? |

| oh my gosh, Cooper is adorable! Congrats. Love the 3rd picture with his ears up and down. lol Welcome to YT. Have you considered getting a carseat for your cutie? We have the snoozer carseat which he can be tethered in. I like them because the can sit up high and look out the windows.

| Hi and Welcome to YT! Do you have a food or postal scale you could weigh him on? His ears may take time to stand up, but he will always be adorable, either way, lol! And, yes, carseats or restraints are highly recommended.... air bags can kill.

| Cooper is so cute, My BJ born Oct.29. I would suggest first thing is to the Vet for examination. They will weigh Cooper and answer any questions you may have. Good Luck. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Cooper is a cutie!! Congratulations. Ears flopping a bit at this age is normal; could be caused by teething and/or the weight of the hair on his ears. If you trim the hair off of the top 1/3 of the ears, I'll bet they will both be standing soon after.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Copper is so cute. You may try trimming the ear tips to get the weight off them. That helps them stand up.

| Sooo cute!!! He looks about Geno's size when he was that age. Geno weighed 2.1lbs I think it was. If you want the ears up, you can tape them. Regardless, his ears are gonna fluctuate from being up and down due to him teething.
