Here we go again! Wasn't I just here posting the 5 week pictures the other day???? Nope, it's been a week already...............again!

This week the puppies were introduced to the world outside their xpen. Still confined to the puppy nursery mind you (spare bedroom), but we let them run around the room at times, exploring new sites, smells, and things to climb on (including climbing up on my lap ). They really enjoy this new freedom which they get a few times a day.
I've been introducing them to puppy gruel, then kibble soaked with water the past week or two, and now I've found a puppy kibble small enough for me to be comfortable leaving it dry & therefore available to them at all times. I can see that they are eating it well, so it won't be long before Hannah's "milk bar" will be closed to them. With their teeth starting to pop out, she is beginning to grumble as they try to nurse, though she does allow it still at times.

Without further adieu, here they are at 6 weeks old..........

Oh I wish! Owning a Biewer is a dream! PS. And six weeks is too old for me. I like them at 4 weeks. Yeah, that was a big fat unfunny joke.

Here they are.........7 weeks old now. I cannot believe how fast time is going! The pups are fully weaned from Hannah now and have 24 hour access to dry puppy kibble & plenty of fresh water. During free play time when mom is around they will still TRY and get a taste of mama's milk, but Hannah will quickly grumble at their sharp little teeth & trot away. It is a favorite time(s) of our day (hubby & I) when we take turns sitting on the floor of the puppy room watching them play together and as they climb onto our laps & up our chest to give puppy kisses. Ahhhh, this is the life for me!

Brady slowed down on his weight gain this week giving his siblings a chance to catch up (almost). Little Beau is still a tiny guy.....gaining each week, but still just shy of 1 1/2 lbs. He's got a might big personality though & doesn't let his bigger siblings pick on him without fighting back.

Happy Valentines Day!

8 weeks old & doing very well!!
The B litter went in for their first set of shots & health check up this past week. They handled their outing like champs; the boys have all of their boy parts ,and all of them were given a clean bill of health! When the vet weighed each of them I was shocked to hear that Brady weighed 3 pounds when I swore he was only 2.3 last week. Each of the others weights were right on target, so I think that I my eyes played a trick on me & I mis-read my scale last week charting him at 2.3 when in actuality he was likely 2.13. I remember thinking it was odd that he hadn't gained much from the week before that.

Anyway, big boy Brady has a big old softy heart to match. He has for the most part a very sweet, mellow personality. Blaze is the go-getter & will jump on my lap & climb up my chest to give tons of kisses! Beau may still be under 2 lb but he doesn't let that stop him from rough-housing with the others. Barbie is all girl.....feisty and sassy and very pretty!

Here they are.......9 weeks old now!! Our household is non-stop action & non stop fun these days with four very active puppies and of course our own Fab Five. The B Litter graduated this week to some family time out in the living area with the the adults (dogs & people), becoming more accustomed to the sights and sounds of every day living, people coming & going, etc........and they seem to love it! I've been working on getting Barbie & Brady's ears to stand the past few days. They are up in these photos and I believe Barbie's are up to stay, but Brady's are being a bit stubborn and are showing signs of flopping again but I'll keep working with them.
