| Four! Four...well almost... her x-rays taken today. Vet says they are all small and she shouldn't have any trouble having them. Friday is day "60" - so that's what we're hoping for so I have the weekend to care for her and them closely. She had her last litter on day '59'. We're excited but of course always apprehensive for her overall well being. She had her last litter quickly and easily so we'll be praying for another easy whelp.

| Good luck. We had five 3 1/2 weeks ago. The first four came one right after the other but the last one was a long wait. All are healthy and starting to walk. Hope you have an easy delivery.

| Thanks again for all the well wishes. Of course I will keep all posted. Click on the x-ray...the picture on the upper right, the vet and tech's were making fun of: looks like a 'halloween skull" (so they said - & they're right!) --- bet that one is a boy! lol I take her to work with me, tote the basic whelping supplies back and forth..."just in case" (she had her others FAST) - hoping she waits until after work - and the weekend guarantees me a second experienced helper on hand which always relieves me.

| That is so cool!!! Don't breed and have never seen an x-ray of furbabies in the womb. It's always amazed me though how dogs can have x-rays when pregnant but humans are advised against it. Why don't they do sonograms on them? Good luck and can't wait for pictures. |

20 years ago ultrasounds in humans were considered highly dangerous and were only performed when absolutely necessary now they do them willy nilly. Procedures progress/change over time and their opinions of negative/positive results. Guess we'll really know the outcome of excessive ultrasounds in another generation. Anyway, like all things one must always weigh the risks -vs- the benefits. In this case, knowing exactly how many puppies she is expecting is more beneficial than the risk of not knowing. She can't tell me there's a problem. Humans can tell the doctor after delivering... "hey, hang on, there's one more in there, something seems wrong, etc" lol
