I guess it is time to officially introduce our miracle babies. Some of you may have followed my thread in the breeder section titled "Questions about expecting mom". Little did I know when I started it that we would have so many problems. But here we are on day 6 with mom and all 4 puppies alive and doing good. These puppies are not full blooded Yorkies. Mom is a registered Yorkie and dad is a Maltese. Not sure yet if he was registered since it was done by her original owner. I just took her in when the owner was not taking care of her.

So we have 3 girls and 1 boy. Their weights and birth order are...

Girl 1 (Brown) 4.0 oz at birth -- 3.6 on day 6
Girl 2 (Black & Gray?) 3.5 oz at birth -- 3.4 on day 6
Boy 1 (Black) 4.0 oz at birth -- 4.0 oz day 6
Girl 3 (Black & Tan) 3.5 oz at birth and 2.6 day 6

All of the puppies are doing great and even got a clean bill of health yesterday from the vet. Despite my concerns for them being under weight. Especially the baby. They are all bottle feed since Momma can't nurse.

OMGosh, your little miracles are simple darling. Sorry, to hear it was a difficult time. How is mommy doing?

Mom is doing great!!! Second day with no problems. Never thought this would ever come. Day 3 since last surgery and all is going good. So far, no signs of re-lapse or infection getting out of control. Fingers still crossed.

They are certainly adorable little miracles. I have now read through the other thread completely, so I believe Mommy yorkie and babies are all miracles.

God bless you for taking this little mama in and taking care of her and now her little miracles. When I read this I just happened to remember that Dudley's mother's is regiestered under I believe in miracles. Hope and pray they all do great.

I think we all followed her other thread and were sitting on the edge of our seats there for awhile...Sara they really are "miracle babies" but only because you did everything right. Still sending prayers for momma that she continues to improve. The babies are adorable.

Mom and babies are doing good. She is trying to nurse them. Doesn't seem like she has enough milk for all of them all the time so each feeding I help her out just a little. Babies are growing so fast. Here are some pics I took last night and this morning. Posted them on the other thread but forgot to post them her. Sorry..

omgosh they are so little. what adorable babies. i wish i lived closer to you i'd be banging down your door to come help feed them and love them....i'd also prob. be asking for one but just can't make that drive DARN IT!

So here is today's weight....

Brown Girl.....4.2 oz
Black Girl......4.3 oz
Boy.............5.0 oz
Baby Girl.......3.4 oz

Guess momma is doing something right with the milk since they have ALL gained since yesterday. I have only supplemented on some of the feedings and each one got 1 full bottle feeding through out the day since trying to get 4 on mom at a time has been a challenge.

Now since these are our miracle babies I would like to ask for your help in naming them. The boy's name is Riley after our vet. Would like some input from our extended family to come up with a name for the 3 girls. I would like something unique if you can think of anything. I am open to all suggestions. Hugs!!!
