Awww there so adorable :) loved your video:) watched it more then once ~ |
Tammie they are soooooo darn cute. Boy they sure are active. I love the way they charge after each other. So glad to hear they are doing well and that you are able to care for them while Sara is busy with work. What an awesome little bunch. |
Great job Tammie. They look loved, and healthy. So glad you stepped in to help out Sara. You are one very special person! Love you both |
They're so fiesty and active and CUTE! I just can't believe it's been six weeks already. :) Bonny |
I can't believe they are 5 weeks old already. They are so cute. |
7 Weeks Old!!! 4 Attachment(s) Hard to imagine but the Miracle babies are now 7 weeks old!!!! They are all doing wonderful. They have adjusted to being over at my house. Sara got to come back for the day and came and seen all of them. She also took Bella running around with her but then had to go back. Hopefully she will be back soon. The puppies are all running around, playing, talking and having a blast. They love to get under my feet now. They are still eating mush food but have tried the hard kibble. They have been using the potty pads too....and not just as a toy. :D Have started to let them come out into the living room a few times a day so they can run around and get used to being in a different room. They have also got to see one of my dogs through the gate in the house but have not yet been able to play with them. All are gaining weight good so far. Riley is 26 oz Hope 23.8 oz Faith 23.8 oz Baby Grace 18.9 oz Pictures are getting hard to get since they don't want to sit still and the 2 black ones don't want to show up in the pictures real well. Going to have to figure where I can put more lights to get better pics of them. Here is a pic of each one of them from today. Will try to get some more and a video of them running around. Bella is not wanting them to nurse anymore. She will growl at them when they try to nurse. Guess she is tired of being a mom now. She has not been correcting them either. They will bite on her and she just tries to get away but does not try to stop them. They will go in next week for their 1st full set of shots. They all did so good with the parvo and the de-wormer. Hugs!! |
Wow, 7 weeks. They are so adorable I just wanna squeeze them. I'm still so in love with Hope, and if I was anywhere closer to you guys I'd be "hoping" to become Hope's forever mommy. Unfortunately, living in Hawaii with the quarantine laws etc. it just isn't possible. Baby Grace is still the "baby" isn't she, sweet tiny one. Darling shiny little black ones are cute too. Can't believe how dark they are, I don't see any light at all. Tammie and Sara, you have done a great job in raising these little ones, and I love hearing news about them. Thanks for the update, and keep up the good work. Hugs to all! |

Did you see that she now Hope has white coming through?? Never would I have thought that some of her brown would turn to white. She is just gorgeous and the greatest personality. She is so playful yet she still loves her cuddle time. Yes, Riley and Faith are both jet black. They each have a tiny spot of white on their feet and some on their chest but that is it. What can I say about Baby Grace....she is a tough little cookie. That girl KNOWS this is her home and is not afraid of anything!!! She will take on all of them but then she wants me to cuddle her like she is a tiny little thing. She is just funny. They all even know their names now. Some better than others but I can call one and that dog will most of the time come. Well except Baby Grace...she always comes. LOL I just can't believe how big they have gotten since I first seen them. They would barely fit in your hands and now they are running and playing and growing so fast. I have really had fun watching them grow up. So blessed to have been a part of it and the chance to play with them. |
So nice to see updates. You have done a great job of stepping in for Sara. They have come a long way and look so healthy. |
They are growing so fast. So cute! |
8 Weeks 4 Attachment(s) Time is sure going by fast now....the babies turned 8 weeks old this morning. They are all doing wonderful right now. They are all gaining weight each week. They eat wet kibble still and even have a set bed time where they go to sleep and stay there till I come back in the morning. Faith Ann will get to go to her new mommy's house tomorrow for about an hour or so but that all depends on how she does. Going to let her see where she will be living and get familiar with it but at small intervals. They will get shots on wednesday so hopefully they will do well with them like they did the last round. Puppies got to go outside for a brief moment today. Was trying to take pictures and just could not get enough light on them while they were in the house so they got to sit in a chair outside to get them done. They were not real sure what to think of it. So here are some pics of them from today...... FAITH ANN Theses are of Faith Ann....She is going to Sara's mom. She loves to run and Jump. Loves to sit at my feet and cry till I get her new mommy on the phone and then she will talk to her. She is a little cuddle bunny!!!! |
Baby Grace 4 Attachment(s) Here is my sweet Baby Grace. She is a spunky little girl. Still the smallest of all but has a big attitude. She will keep up with the rest of them but yet likes to cry if I leave the room. She is already spoiled and I don't regret a minute of it. LOL She loves to snuggle and give kisses. |
Hope 4 Attachment(s) Here is little Hope. She has definitely lighted up in her color since she was born. She is very sweet, loves to be held and give kisses. She is the talkative one out of the 4 and she always has something to say. She has found her bark already and loves to use it for no reason. I must say that she is one of the prettiest ones I have seen. Great personality and just a loveable little girl. Who ever gets here will have one sweet dog. |
And finally....Riley 4 Attachment(s) Riley is still the biggest out of the 4. He is almost 2 lbs now!!! He looks just like a black Maltese to me. He started out as being the toughest but is now the sweetest little lover there is. He LOVES to have his belly rubbed and will lay on his back to let you do it. Very quiet and loves to lay right next to you. Who ever gets him will have one special little boy on their hands. Just a handsome little man!!! |
Forgot to mention but Sara is doing great. She is still out of town with work but has been back a few times just for short visits. She should be back for a few days soon. Her husband comes and picks Bella up a couple of times a week and lets her go home for a few hours to play. They sure do miss her when she is not around. Hopefully Sara will get to come back soon but said to say "Hi" to everyone and said she would try to get on when she can. Right now she is working 16-18 hours a day so does not have a whole lot of time. |
Oh my goodness they sure are growing up fast. The new pictures are just adorable. Glad to hear that Sara is doing great. I bet they do miss her alot. Thanks for keeping us updated. |
Precious!!!! Tammie, they just keep getting cuter every week. These pictures really show more of the detail of their faces and eyes, and they are all soooooo stinking cute. I guess I'm most taken with Hope, since she looks a lot like 3 of my Morkies did as babies. Baby Grace looks pretty much like a sweet lil Yorkie, and yes the 2 black ones do resemble black Maltese. I wish I could just snuggle them all. They are so lucky to have had you and Sara taking great care of them. With all your care and love they are going to be wonderful little pets for their owners. Thanks for posting pictures, love it! |
You are both so amazing, and I have such admiration for you and Sara. These babies are just so precious, and I know with the love that you and Sara have given them, they are going to be so happy, loving, friendly, and well-adjusted. Your story moves me every time I read your posts. Thank you for giving of yourself so freely and for helping Sara with these babies. I had a baby Grace, too, and my hope is that you have the wonderful, loving life with her that I had with mine. |

I think I fall more in love with them with each picture, so adorable! |
Really? Hope hasn't found a home yet? I would take her in a heartbeat, but my husband isn't quite on board, yet. |
Gosh Tammie, I just love these little puppies. The pictures are so close up and good I can almost smell their puppy breath :D. |
Oh Tammy they are so gosh darn cute. Thanks for sharing, I will NEVER forget their birth! |
Just wanted to update everyone on the vet appointment we had today. The puppies got their first set of shots. The prior shot was just a parvo boost since mom did not nurse for the first week. All went well till we came home. After being home for about 10-15 minutes, Baby Grace started screaming and running around. She was scratching her head, trying to hide her head in the bed and just running as fast as she could to get away from what was bothering her. Well, I called the vet immediately and they said to get her back in since she was having a reaction to the shots. We raced back there and she was given 2 shots...one was benadryl and I can not remember what the other was. She will now have to have these 2 shots before she gets any vaccines in the future. So we get back home and Faith and Hope are showing mild signs of a reaction so I called the vet again and was told to give them some benadryl since they were not showing signs of it being severe. Ended up giving the remaining 3 benadryl and they are all doing good now. They will get more benadryl at bedtime and then I call the vet back in the morning to let them know. They all checked out great. Heart and lungs were good and puppies even got their nails trimmed. Did have trouble with them not wanting to eat but when I opened the can of wellness puppy they all came running. So all is well now and puppies are sleeping. These little ones are bound to keep me on my toes. LOL |
What adorable little Fluffballs they are! Soooo sweet. I hope all goes well with their shots. |
I hope these babies are feeling all better after their shots. Poor little Gracie, but I know her mom will be taking great care of her all her life. I can understand why you fell in love with Baby Grace. She is a special little girl, just like her brother and sisters. I'm so glad that they are healthy, and I hope all is well after the reactions to the vaccine. |
Oh Tammie the fun never ends, does it? Just when it was suppose to be all down hill. Glad you are there for them. You will always be my hero! Tell Sara hi for me! |
Nope, the fun never ends. LOL Hubby called me while I was working yesterday and Baby Grace was still having problems. They all ate for me before I left but then she would not eat again and was messing with her head. When I got home I gave her some more benadryl and she did eat some for me. This morning she is eating and seems fine. Will give her more benadryl before I leave just to make sure she is still alright. Good thing today is a short day. On another note, Bella got to go spend her first night back at her house last night. Sara's Hubby came over and picked her up yesterday evening and she stayed the night there with him. She will be back in a little bit to stay the day here but he said she did real good and stayed snuggled up to him in the bed all night. Will see how she is doing today and if she wants to go back home for good or if she just wanted some away time. |
They are too adorable. I wish I could take Hope with me but current situation does not allow. :( My parents would kick me out with all my pups lol. Wish I were rich and had 101 happy yorkies... :D |
Thanks for the photos and updates Quote:
