Oh my goodness. I have tears in my eyes thinking about all that you have been through in the past 2 weeks. Thank you so much for sharing your story and the pictures of your beautiful puppies. I am thrilled to hear you are keeping one, as you have worked so hard and deserve to have the pleasure of watching this amazing life grow and give you continued joy and happiness.

Oh my goodness, they are ADORABLE! I was just thrilled to see the pictures and to hear that everyone is doing well (even you, Sara).

They are just so sweet, and healthy looking. Ok, have to admit that Hope (lil brown girl) is my favorite; love the color even though I know they will all get much lighter as they grow up.

I wish you continued good luck with your little fur family. It is such a blessing that the mommy was able to nurse after all she went thru. Hang in there and continue to rest when you can to get yourself well now.

All of the puppies are doing great and even got a clean bill of health yesterday from the vet. Despite my concerns for them being under weight. Especially the baby. They are all bottle feed since Momma can't nurse.

Hope is a gorgeous little girl. She was the one I was leaning towards keeping but me and Gracie have a special bond right now and I can't imagine her going anywhere. Who knows....they may all end up staying. LOL Have to get rid of hubby first. :rolleyes:

I think the names that you picked out just fit them to a tee. Mommy is still nursing but I still have to help. She just doesn't have enough milk to feed them all the time so I am trying to get more day feedings in so she can nurse more at night when I have to leave for work. I have been feeding the boy more so the girls can catch up on mom's milk since he likes to hog it. Working out good since they are all gaining real good. Was surprised that we haven't doubled weight by now but vet said they are healthy and not to worry about it. I figure in a few weeks they should be ready for some real food and that will help....just hope mom can still produce till then. She has been doing great and let's me know when she needs a feeding off. Just blessed that we have had so many good days and everyone is healthy.....including me. Sleep was what I needed and I sure did get it. LOL

Well you have done a fine job with Mama & Babies. I have 2 questions though, #1 Where are some pics of that sweet little MaMa dog ? & #2 are you offering a pup to the vet ? I do believe he put his whole heart & soul into saving MaMa. He may not want one but if it were me I would deff offer. Keep up the good work , those babies are beautiful.:)

Oh Sara, I am so happy that you are keeping little Gracie. They are all so very precious and true little miracles, but I am partial to little Miss Gracie. I have worried about her the most with her being the tiniest. I am sure she will have the best home possible with you!

Well there is no need to worry about her. She has spunk to her. She may be the smallest but she is no where near my weakest. She has too much of momma in her. I can already tell I will have my hands full with her. She is such a sweet baby.....loves to be cuddled. Well, all of them do. They love their burp time and that seems to take longer each time. LOL They are not spoiled in the least little bit.

Yes, the vet has been offered a puppy and he is eyeing the little boy....his namesake. Do not know if he is going to take him or not but that is the one he picks up first when we go in. He has big dogs and is an older man so he may not take him but the offer was made to him when she delivered....even before the 2nd surgery. As for pics of momma. There are some in my album and some on my other thread. Haven't taken new ones of her yet since most of the time she is laying with babies and never can seem to get a good one. Soon as it warms back up she will get her bath and then hopefully I can get some of her. She is in my avatar pic and she has not changed since that pic.

Oh Sara, I just admire you for all you have done for this poor little mom and her offspring. You have memories to last a life time.

Hi Jackie,

Everyone is doing GREAT!!! Will do our updated post tomorrow when they turn 3 weeks old. Have some great news to share and will post it with updated pics.
