I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() I hope you can get an answer soon; I'm just bumping so perhaps maybe someone will see this. It best to get a whelping coach before you little girl is due. Can you buy a new thermometer, and do you have all the other supplies? Do you know the signs of distress? Best of luck, I'd go to the vet, but I'm not a breeder.

| ![]() Having nearly lost one of my girls a couple of years ago to Pre-eclampsia, I also would advise you to get her to the vet just to be on the safe side. My girl came down with Pre eclampsia on her 60th day. It was the worst thing I have ever witnessed with my dogs. needless to say, that was her last litter. |

| ![]() You posted this in the nursery section. If you post in the breeder section you may get more help faster. Once they start pushing you should start to see a puppy coming. If they are pushing hard for too long then you have to get her to the vet. Please re-post this in the breeder section so you can get some help. A lot can happen in such a short time and you can go from no problems to serious problems in a matter of minutes. I know....My new little girl had to have 2 surgeries and 2 stays at the ER vet when she whelped. |

| ![]() Just make a post in Breeder Talk...it is about half way down the page on the forum list. A lot of breeders don't come in the nursery section so I feel you will get more help there. Once you click on that then click the new thread button and post your questions or concerns. Last edited by Sara1130; 03-02-2011 at 07:04 AM. |
