We understand you do not care about where your puppy is comin from and you are ok with supporting such a breeder, but fortunately there are a lot of people who do! You listed another reason that your breeder isn't ethical and that is she is willing to ship a puppy at 8 weeks to you! So again for anyone looking for a puppy, run away from this breeder!! |

I wish you luck. |

Shes not letting me get her at 8 weeks but she said that she wants to keep her longer because her smaller dogs need more time with their parents so shes keeping her to 10 weeks!:aimeeyork Bye bye im not replying anymore until i tell you how shes doing on her vet check ups and how happy and healthy she is... no comments pls i know what u guys are thinking ive heard it b4 thnks!! Im gettin her friday!! : ) |
A whole 2 more weeks huh? great! |
Sigh... |
They have bargain pups :( Good luck to you and your new baby ~ |

Thing is a simple vet check up on a 10 week old pup dosnt tell you much. Most of the problems dont surface until much later. Everyone here would LOVE it if you are able to come back and say your pup is as healthy as a horse, we all want what is best for the dogs. What people are trying to do is save you from possible heart ache, if this breeder will do all of the things you have said then I bet she hasnt done any of the pre-breeding tests.... |

Like I've mentioned before. What this thread has done is get the name of what I consider an UNETHICAL breeder out there, so responsible buyers looking know to stay away, so I thank the OP for helping in that regard. It's just too bad she isn't concerned herself. :( |
Quote:
But again, remember when someone similar to the OP came back on a few months ago to boast her baby was "healthy as an ox"? Well, she just posted a thread a few days ago her baby was lethargic, vomiting, and had diarreah. |
I appreciate the wisdom and advice of the very knowledgeable owners and breeders offered in response to the OP's post, but reading it (the post and her replies) I can't help but think we've got another troll here. No one in their right mind would say the things she has. I agree the OP is a lost cause (but I don't think it's a sincere post/story to start out with), but lots of good- and heart wrenching- info has been shared that will hopefully help others who are reading and have a desire to learn and be informed. |
^^^^ We're not supposed to use the "T" word, though i can understand how you may feel that way. Unfortunately, some people who are uneducated about mills do post/talk/think in the same manner as the OP, so I am thinking she is probably for real. A person such as this takes the criticism of the miller as us criticizing them (the OP), bc it was their decision to go with said breeder, hence all the defending of the breeder, even though OP has never met them. All I can hope is that the 10 week old baby survives the flight from MO to MA tomorrow, and is healthy for life, for the sake of this baby. However, when one does have luck with one from a mill, they tend to think their "breeder" was not so bad after all, even after learning much info on mills, and unfortunately go on to recommend and/or buy from that same breeder again. It's a sad neverending circle. Poor pups, one day you will be free. |
Y are you lying stop the drama!!! Quote:
You dont know if that had anything to do with were she came from so dont assume she could of chewed something poisonous because you will be very suprised how much plants are very poisonous |
She is the best puppy ever!!!! :aimeeyork:D:aimeeyorkI wanted you guys to know that she arrived perfectly fine and so happy to ge tout and run around and be with me and my family! She is SO hilariousand energetic and loves to give kisses to everyone! She is very well behaved and is doing better than i could ever expeced!! No one wants for the puppies to be unhealthy or have issues, but unfortunately the proof is the sheer numbers. Breeders who do not do testing, breed poor quality dogs, etc.. you are just asking for heartache! It is what it is! |
troll?more asumpsons without knowledge you dont even know who i am i could beanyone and you are only judging me on what i think about were im getting my puppy! I find that sad and immatureand i dont care what people have to say so maybe you people who are a little bit 2 attached to this site should let peole enjoy their dogs and not try to get into their life and mess with it just be happy and go and play with your dogs!:aimeeyork:animal-pa |

No one wants your puppy to be sick or have issues & honestly consider yourself lucky and blessed if she continues to be as she is now, but as it's already been pointed out problems can take weeks, months or longer to appear. Hopefully that won't be the case, we never want puppies to suffer because of where they came from. You didn't visit this breeder in person, according to your posts, so honestly you have no idea what kind of breeder they are or how they take care of their dogs. You only know what they told you or showed you. The facts are the facts. Yes, we are attached to this site & the Yorkie breed, maybe this isn't the right fit for you and that's ok! Best of luck that your puppy stays well. |

Or perhaps you are saying my posting in regards to a member "SIMILAR TO THE OP" boasting about her baby being "healthy as an ox"? That's true also, you want me to link the thread? You also want me to post what you wrote before you edited it? I came straight to my email inbox, and I don't appreciate all the caps yelling at me. Don't start with me on drama honey, you are the reason why this thread has so much drama, not me. |

I do hope her puppy in the long run will be ok, it's way too early to know that. I'm not sure if she thought we would be happy to hear the puppy was sick or what, doesn't make any sense really. |

It's one of those "I know better than everyone else, so there" (with tongue sticking out) posts. I do hope her dog is fine and beats the odds. I also hope that anyone else who reads this thread will at least think about what they are doing and perhaps make a more informed and better choice because of it. But I've also spent enough time hanging around this site before I joined and since, to know that if and when this dog gets sick the members here will be the first to step up and offer help, no matter where it came from. |
