| Time Between Births Of Puppies? It there a standard amount of time, from the birth of each puppy? From the first one to the second to the third and so on? Our Yorkie give birth to her first puppy about 3 hours ago and she has 2 puppies left inside, from the X-rays, we got last week.

| I have no idea, but I bet some of the breeders on here will!! In the meantime, I would call your vet to make sure. Good luck! |

Sign of a complication is 3 hours of no labor between pups and you think or know there is no pups. Constant hard labor for ore than an hour with no results Green or odorous discharge from the vulva An interval of two hours between pups with occasional hard labor Get going now. | Now for an update on our Rose> Hi Everyone! Today, Monday June 28th, didn't go quite as planned with Rose's delivery. It started out well with labor around 9:30. She delivered a nice 5 oz. baby girl at 11:22. But then she had no further contractions for about 3 hours. She wasn't in any pain and rested comfortably. I had a friend Mia and her daughter Maddie here to see the puppies being born. Mia is my husband Richard's Captain's wife from work. It was Maddie's birthday. Maddie had a greattime holding all the pups here especially Lily. Richard is working night work tonight and was very upset that he had to leave us to go to work. I called the vet and they said to bring her right in. They xrayed and a puppy was curled up in the birth canal. The vet told me it probably wouldn't make it cause it looked so twisted. She did a c-section right away. The little boy needed to be revived but they got him breathing. The other little girl was weak but doing ok. With a lot of help from some wonderful vet techs and the vet we were able to get the babies to nurse some before we got home at 7:30. Because I had wonderful support from Mia and Maddie the first girl puppy we are calling Maddie and the second girl is being called Mia. The little boy is named Trouble since he caused all the trouble. I may change that but for now it fits. Mia and Maddie left me at home and I was able to get everyone settled in. Rose is eating only a little but drinking water. The good news is that with a little help Trouble and Mia nursed without help for a short time. I will be making sure they all nurse throughout the night. Rose is such a good mom. I know she has to be hurting but she is still cleaning them and letting them nurse. She is the one that had the really bad day. I was worried we might lose her but she is doing well. Sorry no pictures yet. I will take some tomorrow. Many thanks for all your hope and prays, GOD comes through again for us, his LOVE Is AMAZING! Love Cathy
