| Pick of the Litter We are finally approaching the time to pick from the litter for our new baby. The puppies will be around 5 weeks old. Any suggestions as to what to look for at this age? |

| wish i could help. I had to pick Layla from online photos when she was 3 weeks- they all look a like! will you get to see the puppies or is it by photos? I guess you just gotta go with your gut- make sure they have clear eyes- smell nice and clean- I read somewhere to see how submissive they are to hold them on their backs- the ones that dont' struggle are obviously quite easy going but i'm not sure a 5 week old would do much |

| Seeing is believing We'll be able to see the puppies in person. What I have read about the puppy stages is that at that age, they are still little blobs and can barely get around. |

| Congrats on getting a new pup! We picked out our new little on on Monday, and the litter was also 5 weeks old. The were all very similar looking, just slightly different sizes. I picked the largest boy, although I dont know if that's an indication that he'll be larger as an adult. Good luck with your choice...the hardest part will be not wanting all of them! xxx

| All a matter of personal preference: I compare their faces and I look for a short nose, smallest ears and most especially I look for the silky feeling coat and richly defined color. Hard to tell alot when they are so young.
