Wow, How much did Lilah weigh? I didn't know they could have that many puppies. My Daisy was 9 lbs and is due next Sunday. The Daddy is 5 lbs. She is really big. Good luck on your puppies.

Wow...Was this her first litter? So many cute babies! Did you know that she was going to have that many? Or were you just surprised when she kept delivering? How many boys and how many girls?

No, we didn't know she was gonna have this many...they just kept coming! lol Talk about surprise! We had decided not to xray her becasue she's a larger Yorkie, plus the weather wasn't cooperating when she reached day 55/56...there was snow and ice on the ground, and we didn't want to chance the roads. We have 6 girls and 3 boys. Birth weights were all between 4 and 5 oz, except for 1 little boy that we lost...he was just over 3 oz. Yesterdays weights ranged from 8 oz to 18 oz...we've got a couple of little piggies! | |

I miss having little puppies in the house. My Molly had 7 but we lost one...But still we had so much fun with them. Each morning my husband and I would sit on the floor and have our coffee and just let the puppies run all over us. It was such a rewarding time!

OH MY GOODNESS! I have been breding yorkies for 27 years and have never even heard of a litter over 7. I would be really worried about her having enough milk and to prevent eclampsia are you giving her Calcionate Syrup, vitamins and tons of food. Wow you really do have your hands full. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your babies hopefully the rest will grow into beautiful little furballs. Doesn't sound like you are going to get much sleep the next few weeks. Hugs to all. Congrats!
