| How Big ??? Hello, I am new here. I got my Millie baby about a month ago and what fun. She is the first Yorkie I have ever had and boy do I and my kids love her. I was wondering - with everyone's experience - about how big can I expect her to get if she is now 3 lbs 4 ozs at 15 weeks? Just curious. Thanks for any insights, ~C |

YT 1000 Club Member | Yeah... It really depends on her lines... My baby Kitty was 3.3lbs when I got her at 14weeks and she is now 4.25-4.5lbs (but she's chunky at the moment. LOL)... Maybe you can ask your breeder what the parent's weight was at the same age and final weight. |

| I'm wondering the same thing Hi, I'm wondering how big my new one is going to get as well. The breeder tells me she takes after her father, who weighs 2 1/2 lbs. She is 11 1/2 weeks old and weighs 1.2lbs. Any one care to take an educated guess. I do have a 5 year old male but he has had, and continues to have so many health problems that I doubt I could judge anything by him. (But his disposition is fabulous - just as you would expect from a Yorkie!) Thanks so much everyone. |

YT 2000 Club Member | From what Ive read on this board, you take thier 12 week old weight and double it, but that isnt always accurate. My pup's parents were 4 and 4.5 pounds and at 18 weeks he already weighs 5 pounds. So it really is hard to tell. Being that your pup is that little still I wouldnt think that it will get bigger than 4ish pounds.

| Reply to Romeoandbella question. Maddy weighed 1.6 lbs at 12 weeks and is almost 1yr and just weighs around 2lbs. Tiny little girl. Her vet says she is healthy and strong for a tiny girl. Very active...lol Her Dad's weight is 2 1/2lbs and Mom weighs around 4lbs. |
