Yorkie Yakker | New Mom Today I'm a new mom! I just received my brand new yorkie. She's 7 weeks old. My question is.... when will she start looking like...well... you know... a yorkie? She looks like a doberman (sp?). My breeder laughed when I said that. I'm super nervous... but really happy. |

Loved by Alfie & Evie Donating Member | Congrats on your new furbaby! They are all so cute when they are just brought home... and yes my Alfie looked just the same like a Doberman.. LOL He is just changing now, but as he is my first I couldn't really tell exactly when the change will be complete... he is only 10 weeks now. But everyone here on YT will respond with TONS of great info. Good luck!

| Hey, congrats on your new baby! You are going to have so much fun, and yes, they do look like little dobermans. When we first got our yorkie, my husband used to tell everybody he had a mini doberman I love it when they start growing out and getting fuzzy, so cute. |

You should read up on Hypoglycemic attacks and have Nutrical and/or Kayro Syrup on hand. She should always have fresh water and kibble to eat ALL day long, among other things that you can learn about here on YT WELCOME ~ You are gonna love it here | |

| Ouch! Congrats on your new baby! 7 Weeks is a bit young...they typically are weened around 8 weeks but there is so much socially that they learn from their litter mates that it is good for them to go home around 10-14 weeks. I've seen dogs weened too early that end up with major behavioral problems or health problems. I wish you all the best. He should start looking like a little yorkie over the next 2-3 weeks! |

| Congratulations! Getting a little one is the most exciting thing! They all look like that when they are little, but by a year old she'll look so different. I have pics posted in an album of one of my pups from birth up until 10 months. You can check it out to see how they change step by step. Best wishes to you!
