New Born Miracle

It has been an interesting week. Yesterday was my mother-in-law's 86th birthday. I haven't slept well all week and last night was no exception. I was late for work but had overtime to cut so I was not actually late. I laid down after eating because my legs had been bothering me all day and thought we would be going to the football game. Star had been clinging to hubby all evening, but that wasn't new. At 7:30 I went to the store, had to get dog food. I got home and Star did her usual crying. Again she went and sat beside hubby. I thought I'd check her because she had been washing herself more than usual and believed that maybe she was coming into heat. She looked fine, trimmed up her hair a bit and she jumped down and laid down in one of the beds. It wasn't long when she started acting funny. She looked like she had to poop so I got a paper towel thinking she may be constipated. Much to my surprise, it wasn't constipation. At 10:52pm little Chloe arrived. Star did not look pregnant, she didn't feel pregnant, she did not act pregnant, but apparently, she was very pregnant. Momma and baby are doing fine. We are still in shock!

I can't even imagine how much of a wonderful surprise that must have been.. little Chloe, so cute!! Congrats a bunch~! :girl_hug: Hugs for you and Mommy Star :)

Oh my gosh! Congrats! What a surprise!!!!!! Is this her first litter??? So glad everything went fine!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!

OMG!! :eek: is an understatement. When I checked her to see if maybe she had some poop stuck, I looked at my hubby and said, "she's having a puppy!" WHAT!!!! Are you sure????? She had such an easy delivery. Star is just 3 pounds and Chloe weighed in at 4 ounces. There will be lots of pictures of this little one growing up.

Please share as much as possible... I love puppies :D.. What a trooper your Star is... she gives being pregnant and giving birth a new name... Easy and unnoticible~! LOL

No, this is only her second litter but I swear to you, she sure didn't look or act pregnant. Usually a pregnant female will show some signs, like their boobees enlarge, but not Star. She really gave us a big surprise.

Wow, what a surprise that must have been!! Congrats on the new arrival!! She is adorable!!
I can't wait to see more pictures of her as she grows up. You need to get some new pictures of Momma Star as well, I haven't seen pictures of her in a long time, it looks like her color has lightened up some.
So are we thinking about keeping another, lol?:p

I don't know if I'm going to be able to go to sleep because I'm still in shock but I have to try as I have to get up at 5:30am to get to work tomorrow. I sure would love to call off and play with the new one but big Behr paint sale at Home Depot this weekend and I don't think they would appreciate my reason for not coming to work.

omg.. I cannot imagine not knowing she was prego.. wow.. what a surprise to have this happen.. I had a prego dog that went on day 59, not expected and I was playing on the computer and heard a baby cry.. well did I move.. and so did the other dogs.. but this is amazing.. anne

Congrats to the family and mommy Star. Chloe is just soo cute and what a woderful surprise for the family. The pics are beautiful and Star looks very relaxed with her new daughter. Keep the pics coming, I love pics. Blessings to the whole family, :aimeeyork baron and his Mom

linda is a wonderful Breeder and yes, she has other yorkies. no doubt, she was in full control of the breeding but thought it had not taken. it will be interesting to watch this little one grow up. I have long been a fan of Linda's babies and would love to have one.

Do I have another yorkie??????? How about 12 of them! Buddy is the daddy, I just didn't believe that he got her, but then I also work full time but because she never showed any signs, I figured he didn't get her at all or if he did, it didn't take. It's nice to be wrong once and a while. This is Buddy's second litter and he DID get Peanut last week so now I will be keeping a close watch on her.
I guess if Star had done some nesting, I might have caught on but she didn't. She's the ultimate lap dog. Once she's down, that's where she stays. Even when I got done trimming her last night and put her down in the bed right beside the couch, she didn't nest, rather she just sat there quivering. I was very concerned that there was something wrong with her. How dumb can I be? I'm still in shock!

Well, it's too soon to tell although she doesn't seem as dark as Star was when she was little but star is now blue almost all over. You know that dark gene is in there somewhere. Even Sparkie, Dinky's son, I thought was going to stay dark, his head is turning, but more towards gray/silver. And you know he has to have that dark gene being a direct descendent of Dinky. This is Sparkie. He is still looking for his forever home. Born April 27th and should be around 3.5 to 4 pounds full grown. He is a little sweetheart.

Thank you so much! You know, Sparkie is still available and Joey is just about old enough.

Yes I've heard babies crying twice now and took off running. Made me feel like such a terrible mom. I knew they were close but wasn't expecting them on that day.
