| Kids are growing up! I haven't posted for a long time as we have not had puppies for a while. April brought us two litters, one April 9th and the second one arrived April 27th. The month also brought us a visit to the emergency room for hubby who was having a heart attack, life flighted to a hospital an hour away and had two stents put in. He is doing fine. While he was in the hospital, we had the second litter arrive. Hubby is doing fine but not back to work yet. Born on April 9th, little Rocky and his sisters, Lucy and Tookie. It's easy to pick out Rocky because he is the smallest. Lucy is only a little bigger than her sister Tookie. The only way I can tell these two girls apart is that Tookie's ears have gone up. I haven't weighed them in a while but they are all small. I don't expect Rocky to get much bigger than 3 pounds. The girls may go to four pounds.

| On April 27th as I was getting ready to leave for the hospital, I checked in on Feebie. Sometime during the early hours of the morning she brought us two little ones. Twinkles is so funny. She is back-end heavy and is just now starting to use her back legs to get around. Sparkie is very dark like his daddy Dinky.

| Thank you all for your well wishes for hubby. Yes, it was scary because he should have gone to the hospital two days earlier. When he finally said to take him somewhere because he couldn't stand it anymore, I did. We went to our local hospital emergency. When they couldn't get an EKG reading, that is when the decision was made for the life flight. So to say he's doing good is an understatement. It could have been much much worse if he would have waited even an hour more. Needless to say I had asked him several times about getting checked but he would just grumble. There is absolutely no doubt that stress was a major factor. Rarely a day would go by that he wasn't bitching about something at work. We spent over two years fighting with the local yolkalls over zoning. In November his mother had hip surgery, was recovering, got the flu bug bad and ended up in the hospital and since then has been going downhill. She was to have back surgery in April, actually scheduled for the 28th but her pre-admissions tests showed a problem with her heart. He had taken her to the doctor the day his problems began. And add to that, our daughter-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer on February 7th. She is responding very well to chemo and surgery is temp scheduled for June 23rd. Mother-in-law's back surgery has been rescheduled for June 16th because her stress test came back OK. Saturday we are leaving for Marathon FL for 11 days for a much needed vacation.........I need it especially bad! Our 15 year old granddaughter is getting a vacation too. She gets to stay at our house and take care of the puppies and the dogs. A week after we get back, Roxie is expecting and as big as she is already, there must be a herd in her belly. It will only be her second litter at four years old. Her first one came when she was just 8 months old............not planned!!!! Then at two years old she got milk and nursed Reggie's girls two years ago after Reggie died suddenly when the girls were only 8 days old. We are rather excited about this litter as it will be the first that Buddy sired. So again, thank you all for your prayers.
