| OMG my heart is melting over these babies.... I guess I shopuld say over their daddy. I have absolutely never seen a male be as involved as he is. Here is what I usually see when I get up in the morning ( pardon their hair , no topknots at night :-) ) Here is Ritz , Laying, grooming and mothering these babies. They are so lucky to have 2 very loving parents not counting their skin parents Shellie is also in the picture but she is less involved this AM. He is cleaning too in one picture Pic 1 is just as they are stretching and waiting to be let out to potty number 2 is of the daddy and his amazing hairdo LOL Last edited by bonmur; 01-15-2008 at 08:05 AM. |

| Wow. I never knew the daddy could be so involved. Is this usually the case or an exception? Great pictures

| That is amazing. My males really want nothing to do with any of the babies until they get a little older and then they still arent to crazy about them, they just tolerate them. I have never had one try to clean one |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | That there is a strong modern mamma. She told him if he ever expected to get some in this lifetime again he was going to do his part in parenting the babies so she can get a break...lol. Love it. Cute little family.

| You know he has never been real fond of other puppies. I am not sure if he KNOWS these are his babies or if it is just that he has been there from the beginning. Shellie is very tolerant and in fact cannot stand to be seperated from Ritz. The night she had them she was so worried about him that I had to let him in the room and he ended up laying right next to her the whole time. He is with them more than she is. In fact, she is laying here while I type and he is in with the puppies. I tried to keep him out but she had a fit when i did so now I just put them in their room with the kennel door open and lots of blankets ( which they scatter everywhere by morning) and also there is a heated kennel mat in case it gets chilly. I bought the mat at a local feed store it is an IFA or intermountain farmers. I actually bought the one you see and it was too big for anything I had so I had to buy a larger kennel LOL. I actually bought it for a doghouse that they usually sleep in inside but estimated too big . I also bought a smaller one that fits inside of the smallest size as well. It sure is handy and it is thermostatically controlled so it only turns on when their body temperature does down. I think they can go outside to as it shpws a dog outside on the box./ I havent used the smaller one yet. It is so cute and he is always like very nurturing Bon |
