Cold Weather Coat? Our puppy SQL is 3 months (this past oct. 25th), the weekend was reaaaally cold here, so the little jacket he has now isn't warm enough for him. He sits by my feet, refuses to move, and shivers. How easily can puppies get sick? We blow dry/towel dry him off when it rains. Do they need a big puffy jacket to go outside for bathroom breaks? Any suggestions? I was thinking about putting a pee pad on the porch so he can at least avoid going on the grass with the frost, but he gets the idea that he still has to go outside to void. TIA

I guess if it were my puppy, I would just let him go on the pee pad inside most of the time, and then just take him out for some fresh air and play maybe once a day. Maybe put a little knit shirt on under the coat.

I would get him a shirt for underneath the jacket, with him being so young he is really vulnerable to getting sick.
