Nancy how would I make a thumbnail out of a picture I have on Photobucket or where do you think the picture should be. I would like to add it here and the paper clip does not seem to work for me.

Not sure what you mean by thumbnail? The pictures you add show up as small pictures, but when you click on them they should open up on another page. If the paperclip function doesn't work, you can just go to manage attachment function under the message board. Be sure to use the right address from photobucket, use the "direct link" address and paste it where it says, "Upload File from a URL". Don't use the "browse" buttons, those are to upload pictures from your computer.

I went to photobucket and none of my pictures are showing but the information below each one is there. My pictures are private and I made them open to the public just now and it still didn't give me the picture so it's something on photobucket.

I might be missing something, but the pictures in the thread you linked are no different than other pictures posted on YT. When you click on them, they open up in a new page, whatever size you have made them, with certain limitations, they can't be too small or too big. There may be a glitch in Photobucket, but it usually doesn't last this long. When you post a picture here using photobucket you have to use the right code ( direct)and paste it where it says, "Upload File from a URL" Here's my grandbaby done this way. Her hair is Yorkie style!

I only posted that because you said you were not sure what I meant by thumbnail.

Maybe it was the fact that it was too big. I'll have to see what 'my photobucket' looks like this morning.

Some people think the small picture is a thumbnail and it's not really, it's just a thumbnail that Yorkietalk creates, not the user. If you create your own "thumbnail", it will just be a small picture and won't open to the larger size.

FireFox came up this time and not what I was getting before. I will change my settings to allow YT on FireFox and maybe that will do the trick. My Norton security has already said YT was safe.

I have someone picking me up in a half hour so I must get ready but I will be back at least by tonight but don't you be concerned, you have given so much time to this already I am ashamed of myself.

I updated Firefox and changed a couple things, it seems to be working now for me, I know it was for you before, for a couple posts. :D:D:D

How can I ever thank you. I will have one of the people who make yorkie winter wear contact you to pick out something. This is over and above what i expected in help. You are worth your weight in gold.

I couldn't open this, it said it was unsafe. On google chrome, it said "DNS Lookup for "http" failed. The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found."

I am new to to yt. I am trying to figure out how the site works. I cannot put an avatar by my name cause there all too big. Can you tell me how to change the pixels on the photo. I am using my iPhone.

We are getting our first yorkie puppie in 2 weeks and have picked 2 names Marcie or Ethel. We have a papitese named Lucy and A Dachshund named Sam. Wanted suggestions or vote on names we selected.

Hi welcome to Yorkietalk! This thread was created more so you'd be able to learn how to use some of the features here. Post in the general forum to ask general questions about Yorkies or just to introduce yourself. I really like the name Marcie, but since you have a dog named Lucy, Ethel might be a cute pick. Do you tend to call your dog Sam or Sammy? If so, Marcie might be a good choice, all the names end in the ie sound and dogs respond well to that.

Hello, I'm new to YT. We have our Beautiful Yorkie
boy Bentley. We got him about 4 weeks ago.
Loving every minute of him.
I do have some questions being a new Mom to
A Yorkie. Bentley had his shots yesterday.
Bordetella-1-yr, DA2PPV 1yr, Lyme-30 days.
He is 15 weeks. He is very sore when we
Touch him and crys. Is that normal??

My yorkie will be 10 and she’s started developing these wart like growth’s went to the vetsAnd pretty much said their old age spots but they’re getting big and they’re awful looking wondering if anyone has had this problem and if there is anything that can’t be done Thank you 😞
