Looks like you either saved it in the wrong file type, in order to move it has to be saved as a gif, and it looks like it's a jpeg Sometimes if the file is too big for your particular limits, Yorkietalk just saves it in the smallest size and this takes away the moving capabilities. You can upload it to your album and I can look at it for you. Remember a regular member's avatar can be no bigger than 75 pixels on either side and no more than 19 kb, which is usually about 4 pictures.

You got it to work, yay!! The hardest part is always learning the basics and once you get that your confidence level goes right up! Looks very good!

I don't know much about the IMAC, in fact nothing, but there should be plenty of graphic programs for it, I've linked several to people, but no one has ever told me if they worked or not. Here's a previous post of mine.

For those of you who can't download the program for whatever reason, this site has a free animated gif maker. Just upload the pictures you want to use, and tell them the size. For donating members it's 125 pixels, the largest side, and if square that would be 125 x125, for non-donating members, it's 75 pixels. You can't edit the pictures from the site, but it does group the pictures together in one file. Myspace Animated GIF Generator, Animated GIF Maker.

I think I will create the avatar on the non-Mac computer in the house -LOL
Then maybe I can load it on the site and change my avatar that way.

I created a transparent slide for my avatar. Can you save a transparent slide using PhotoScape? Every time I tried to save the transparent slide to my avatar, the programs gave it a white background.
