| I love that little boy! How big do you think he'll get? He's pretty big already... I probably can't get him, so its more out of curiosity. But I really love that little face!

| Hi all, Thanks for the compliments! @Anna Banana-the boy is not actually chocolate. He has the standard coloring, and I suspect he might stay very very dark. I also suspect he is going to be a "teapot" yorkie, probably closer to 10 lbs than 5 when full-grown, given that he's already topping the scales @ 6 lbs! The girl is chocolate and looks very chocolate in person. She looks just like a teddy bear! If anyone is interested, here are some pictures of the puppies playing with my neighbor, her Doxie, my older yorkie, and a chihuahua I am foster. I'm warning you, the cuteness is a little overwhelming! http://flickr.com/photos/emilyallwoo...7602099846363/ and some video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v7TFinstqs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiDSwSJUb3w |

| i don't mean to be rude, but you really shouldn't have bred a 10lb sire to a 7lb female. you got lucky that nothing happened that's a pretty big weight difference...

Those 2 puppies are just adorable!!! They would make a great addition to any home. I love the idea that they were raised in a home instead of a puppy mill and they know how to interact with others. Some lucky person out there will get a couple of jewels!!!! | |

| Update: The chocolate girl found a wonderful new forever home today with a YT member. The boy is still available. At our most recent vet check up, he weighed in at a whopping 6 pounds! He has the most amazing personality, and even the vet fell in love with him immediately. We're working on potty training now, he's got the hang of walking on a leash, and has almost mastered "sit." Also, just to clarify any potential confusion, junior_ruthie above is my mom, and she owns the sire and dam. I have the puppy in Chicago, however, because we expected that it would a more convenient location for more people than where she is in a very rural area. That was important since we won't ship the puppies. Also, I'm a little addicted to puppies and my dog, Lily (from the same sire & dam as these puppies, but a different litter) enjoys having playmates! |
