| Wanting to Adopt or Purchase a Tiny Yorkie Pup (NYC) Good Morning Everyone!! This is my first time being on this site and I've spent at least 2 hours reading all the posts which was very helpful. Me and my fiance of 6 years are looking to add an addition to our home. I've did a long research on mostly all the puppy sites and received a lot of scam e-mails from West Africa that immediately filled up my e-mail in-box. So I was thankful enough to find a great forum like this one. Okay, I'm going to be real as possible. Our price range is from $450 - $500 CASH or maybe a little bit more if I can rub my fiance (husband) the right way LOL. We are in search of a Tiny Yorkie. The puppy doesn't have to be AKC registered or etc.... We are just looking to give a puppy a loving home. The puppy could either be a boy or girl. Our motto is Beggars can't be choosers. We have no children yet. We are willing to travel upstate New York, PA, New Jersey, or CT. We want to also receive a health guarantee that the puppy is in good health and have no defects or have been inbred. Please contact me back at your earliest convenience. Just feel free to ask any questions. We are open to opinions & suggestions. |

| Hi BksMsCaramel & welcome to Yorkie Talk! You'll find a wealth of information here on YT about this beautiful breed. I also live in the NYC area, and I'll tell you now you'll be hard pressed to find a yorkie for the price range you are searching for in the immediate Tri-State area. Especially one with a health guarantee that the puppy is in good health and have no defects or have been inbred, etc as you've said. There are many seasoned and reputable breeders here at YT, that I know once I am ready for another I would go to them for a puppy. These breeders have done extensive research and put a lotta blood, sweat & tears into their programs; and even though I know many of them still strive to improve their lines, I believe them to be soild & ethical breeders. Woah, little off topic there!!!~ In short I think for a quality healthy puppy especially in the NY area you'll have to look to spend around $1000 for a puppy. Good luck in your search!!!~

| WELCOME !!! I paid #2000 for a small (5 lbs and under) little girl, good quality, good breeder and I was HAPPY to pay that. Its very hard to find what you are looking for in the New York area. But, who knows.. you may get lucky... Best of luck to you..

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Hi, welcome to YT and good luck on your search. Its hard to find a pup in that range in this area. Mine was WELL over that price. Have you thought about rescuing a yorkie? it may not be a tiny puppy but rescues do get young dogs in and they don't cost over a grand.

| I agree that you are not going to find a puppy for that amount of money, I do wish you lots of luck and maybe you will get lucky, you never know. WELCOME TO YORKIETALK!

| Good luck with your search. You will have a hard time with that price range. I would just try your local paper, or do searches over the internet. |
