We bought ours for $350, and she is registered. She looks just like every other Yorkie on this website. However, most of those that I see advertised lately are much more or closer to $500. That is around here. I realize that other parts of the country have much higher prices. Good luck! |
Good luck on your search you will find the perfect baby. |

brad, i agree like i stated earlier, my sister got her baby for $300 also, and he is in perfect health, but hes not registered, she found him in the local newspaper ads, so you never know, just last sunday someone in my town was giving away a 10 month old morkie for free!! i think yorkie prices are coming down, most breeders around her sell there yorkie pups for 550 AKC |
I have been looking for a yorkie for 2 years. I have talked to alot of breeders through emails and telephone. I have never ran across anyone selling this cheap. I have ran across breeders what I thought were asking more than they should. I finally decided to get on a waiting list with someone I had good communication with was happy with the dogs and save my money in mean time. |

It is possible!!! With the market flooded with Yorkies now as everyone seems to have jumped into breeding now that they are so popular, it is getting extremely possible to find good quality babies for as little as 300.00. Not many mind you but they are out there. It may take you a little while and you may have to settle for one around 11 months old but if you are patient you can find them. Not just sick ones either. I would not buy one unless I could go and put my hands on it first. I am one that needs to hold my babies first and get to know them for a little while, after all if you order one and get it shipped to you its like buying a pig in a poke, and I never liked pork in a bag. How do you know it's pork??? |
The price of pedigree dogs varies from state to state. For Yorkies, the southern states seem to be the cheapest for an full Yorkie Pup. I have never seen a full bred Yorkie with any kind of papers for $300.00, let alone a AKC Yorkie, even in the southern states. I have researched the costs of a full bred/AKC registered puppy, with and without champions in their background----and I could not find any, in any state for anywhere even remotely close to a $300.00 price tag. Believe me, I am far, far, far from an expert on Yorkies breeding, lineage, etc. However I have had my share of being on the other side of the buffet table--and was the purchaser of 2 successful placements and 3 unsuccessful placements of Yorkie pups in the past 18 months. Who ever said there are numerous scams out on the internet---even from supposedly legit sites---could not be more correct. In the past 18 months, I have lost a couple thousand dollars in internet scams dealing with Yorkiies. As others have said, research, research and do more research. There are both great and horrible Yorkie breeders/brokers out there. From someone that speaks from recent experience--please be careful. If you are interested in the wonderful breeders I have come across in my quest for my babies--please pm me. Good luck!!! |

Who ever said you cant find a yorkie for that price in good health is just wrong. My Ryo cost me 300 and he has Champion bloodlines. I called around and I was just honest with the breeder that I found in my area. She raises them all to be show dogs but if one falls short of the standard she adopts them out. My Ryo was just over 7lbs and i don't know what other standards he didn't meet but when we go walking people can tell he is from a great family. Just take your time and search God will let you find one that fits your budget. Start at the AKC website and look for Yorkies available you can also find a reputable breeder in your state on the http://ytca.org/ website. That is where i started my search. Kisses! |
