14. Any additional information you want to add: This breaks my heart having to list this. Holly is THE BEST little girl in THE WORLD. Honestly...she is a TRUE lap dog and does not have a bad habit to her name. She is great on potty pads or outside as far as pottying goes. She is not yappy and she needs to be in a home where she will be a LOVED part of your family and given LOTS of attention.
I got her from a breeder in Florida who was retiring due to her adoption of a year old. She got Holly to use as part of her breeding program. She has a Lake Buena Vista Sire and is just gorgeous.
My husband and I have Holly along with 2 other furbabies. We are in the military and he had planned on getting out this year. However...he just found out that they decided not to let him out and we are being stationed overseas. The military only lets your being 2 pets...no exceptions. So we have no choice. We had 1 of our dogs for almost 6 years and we absolutely cannot let him go. Then we have Lola...she has a few naughty habits and I fear that no other home will work with her on them and she will end up being rehomed over and over again. Holly is such the perfect pet that I know she will find a forever home.
Holly is great with children as I have an almost 2 year old. She does not have a mean bone in her body.
Her coat does not really mat and she loves being groomed.
If you are a breeder than please only contact me if you have only a few dogs that are inside pets only and part of your family. I DO NOT want her in ANY SITUATION where she is not a spoiled part of the family and given as much attention as I give her. I am asking what I paid (I paid for shipping as well when I added her to our family.) I will be willing to drive and meet part way if we can avoid shipping. Please email me or PM me with as many questions as you would like. We have several months to find her a home so I am in no rush. I also have emailed my family to see if someone could take her for the 2 years that we will be there so we can have her back upon our return. We should know something soon. Please know that I would really like a Vet reference from anyone interested. Thanks again and I am in tears writing this.

I am sorry to hear about your husband leaving:( My husband recently got home from his second tour there. He was gone a total of about 3 out of the past 4 years. Is this your husband's first time deploying to Iraq? I will keep your family in my prayers!

No, he's been to Iraq before. He came home and then spent time in New Orleans after hurriacane Katrina. He's in the National Gaurd. We were hoping he could retire this year. He's been in going on 30 yrs. Once he deploys though he won't be able to retire until he comes back home.

I am located in hampton va if i had that money to spare i would take her immediately . $1,850 is a bit steep for rehoming a dog. BTW she is beautiful:) Good luck on your search

So are you saying that she is not AKC but is elgible for AKC? Are you sure they would accept this? BTW, she is a beautiful girl!!!!!!!

Yes. AKC accepts this registry. She has full registration and when I sent her papers in I ordered the pedigree needed for AKC to register her. I need her papers and pedigree back from Brazil before I can AKC register her.

Just my guess, I'd say she isn't since she said that she'll sell her to a breeder, as long as she'll be spoiled and loved:)

I am sorry that you have to give her up. . .I have already decided that this is our last duty station. I recently lost one of my yorkies, but I am trying to find a new playmate for my Gin, she is really lonely without Andy. And my daughter has a cat. Too many to go back overseas. I also live in Yorktown (Wolf Trap Area), we are military, and I am in Iraq, so I can definitely relate on many aspects of your posts. What is your report date, and where are you going?

I would love to have her if the AKc thing could be worked out. she is the most gorgeous thing and has the look I have searched for, for almost a year.

Oh my GOSH!!!!!! I am completely and totally IN LOVE with her!!! Her face reminds me so very much of my Tatum's! I swear to you, I would LOVE to have that little girl. I am going to ask my husband about this but to be completely honest, I am not going to get my hopes up :( We just paid ALOT (or what my husband considers to be "alot" :rolleyes:) for Tatum only 3 months ago so I'm pretty sure he isn't going to go for it :( Oh man...I am not even kidding. I would LOVE to have her :(

I really want to thank ALL of you for your kind words. I had no clue so many people would be interested in her. She truly and honestly is the best dog we have ever had as far as personality goes. She is truly a people dog and only wants to please you and make you proud of her and to sit on your lap. This is SO hard for my husband and I. I have had quite a few PMs and emails as well as some phone calls. My husband will be home from training tomorrow and I will show him the emails and responses. This is as hard for him as it is me. He adores her too so he will be as involved in the decision as I am. Thanks so much again!

i have just asked Ashley to take me out of the running for her baby because I am a little concerned about the registery. seems she was concerned about me too because some of you have pm's her telling her that I just placed a breeding female due to downsizing. you have that mixed up. I have all my original dogs except Silk and she was placed a year ago after being spayed. I did, post a couple of forsale threads for dixie, my gal that just had babies and quickly asked admin to cancel them both because I backed out of selling her. Just couldn't do it. I would rather be a little overcrowded than let my females go. dixie was spayed last week when she had her babies but will be staying with us. She is our baby out of all of them. The only females I have sold have been my puppies. if you guys that are saying this had done a search on me before you wrote Ashley these things, you would have known that. I am in the process of getting a female from another YT member that is a well respected breeder and trusts me with her baby. IF it can be worked out. I have to wonder if it was another breeder that wanted this dog that was saying those things. anyway, I wish Ashley and her husband all the best and know they will make the right choice for their beautiful girl.

I think we have decided on a pet only home but I just dont know. I am so sad to see her go anywhere but here:(

We are losing out ten year old male Yorkie to cancer (Found out a few months ago) I had searched trying to find a little one that felt right for me but just couldn't warm up to any. I guess I felt as though I was trying to replace my baby. Hubby surprised me for Mother's Day with a little 11 week old girl who happened to be born a few blocks from us. She felt right. I'm glad I have my girl but had I seen your baby first she def. would have been the one. She is stunning. Please, Holly look for a nice family home for your girl. Nothing against breeders or breeding but I know if it were me I wouldn't want my girl bred over and over then maybe placed in another home when she was retired. i totally forgot about Neely. it was an honest mistake. i bought her sight unseen on her peedigree and two face shots. When i meet the breeder that sold her to me, i didn\'t have the heart to tell her I didn\'t want Neely. she had driven a good distance and so had I to get Neely. neely was a keennel dog. she was sweet as she could be. I only had her about two weeks. I put my eight week old puppies in the room with the others and Neely started fighting them and when she did that, all the others started fighting her. i don\'t know if she meant to or was just rough. She was twice the size of my other little dogs, long bodied and long legged. i knew to protect my other dogs, I had to rehome herr. There just wasn\'t room. i made sure she had a good home. I didn\'t sell her to anyone on YT because I didn\'t trust them about breeding her and didn\'t think they would be good to her. So, yes, I did re-home Neely. people do make honset mistake. My reputation is built on being honest that\'s why so many people on here have my babies. As we talked last night, please place her in a \'pet only\' home. because you have to wonder when people want her so badly for themselves that they have to attack another breeder.
