| Friend looking for a small yorkie in IL Well, not necessarily a yorkie, but she wants a smallish 5lbish pup. She can't find a dog in rescue around here or one that can transport- as she's in Northern IL and can only travel as far as Rockford (which shouldn't be that difficult for anyone to meet us, as it's the 2nd largest city in IL.) She works 3rd shift and is looking for a pup to keep her company- not for showing or anything, strictly pet and preferably an already spayed female. Looking for a girl either way, no older than 5. She almost had a rescue chi but the last link in transport fell through and the dog got placed elsewhere, and she wasn't too thrilled as she'd already bought numerous things for her and was pretty upset.. Anyway I figured I'd make a post, see if anyone knew of any dogs they were looking to rehome or whatnot. Willing to pay an adoption fee but is looking into rescue rather than buying one from a pet shop (yay for her!!) and as she doesn't have internet access I told her I'd make a post on here. She DOES currently have a cat, although I know many dogs that adore cats I thought I should state that just in case. She lives alone, no small children. Thanks in advance! |

| I read on another forum that someone is having to give up their two maltese...One is a 3yr old in full coat and the other is a pup...They're father and son. They're going to ask an adoption fee for both of them, but their main concern is finding a good home and they are in central Illinois. Let me know if you're interested and I'll see if I can put you in contact with them...

| Well she said she was looking for preferably female, but I know that two dogs previously were brothers that she almost got so I don't know how far her heart has been set on a girl. If you have a phone number or anything that I can pass on to her that'd be great, it sounds like it's worth a shot. |
