| Interesting Read...AKC, CKC, UKC DNA Testing for Dogs Hello again all Hope all is well. There was something puzzling me and I finally decided to do some research about these kennel registrations. Never really quite understood the purpose of them. Anyone looking for an AKC, UKC and CKC this is an excellent read. They even have AMBOR which is American Mixed Breed Obedience Registry which do not register dogs for breeding purposes at all - a dog must be spayed or neutered - but only record trial results and titles only. I thought that was interesting. Here is the link: http://www.wonderpuppy.net/kc.htm Take care Gizmo's mom

| DNA tested huh? Oh wow...now is that what the AKC is asking for now or did you just want that for the protection of your pups? How much does that cost if you don't mind me asking? Gizmo's mom

| You're welcome. I thought it was interesting too. Of course I don't care whether my pups have papers or not because I love them the same. But I really never understood the significance behind it all. Gizmo's mom
